"Because, I still want an education. I… I-I want to be normal. If I'm going to be stuck on earth, I might as well try to make the best of it. T-To be a normal teenager, make friends, have… have… fun. I never told anyone I was an angel because I knew it would be a problem. There would b-be questions, and problems, a-and it's just not worth it." There were tears in Lloyd's eyes at this point, and his wings hung limply at his back.
(he's not in the hospital anymore)
"Hey it's ok man." Stormy said and got up to hug him.
"I'm really sorry man. I didn't mean to yell I was just surprised and confused. It's a lot to take in all at once…" Darren looked away and felt guilty for being the only one to react negatively to the new information.
(there are only three of us lol)
(he was still the only one… lol)
(7:06 for me.)
Lillian walked up and put a hand on his shoulder, "Hey it's okay. We all react differently in certain situations."
"It's not your fault… I-I should have tried to find some better way, or just be stronger…" Lloyd couldn't meet their eyes, trying to brush away his tears. "I always hated combat, I still do… and Alek just reminded me of that… that's why I couldn't attack him."
(Were in the auditorium right?)
Darren stood up almost the moment he hit the chair. "I'll be right back, I got to uh- I-Um… I'll be right back…"
"Hey! Darren you okay?" Stormy yelled.
It was too late… Darren had already rushed out the door.
He sat down on a bench outside and tried to wrap his head around his day… Tears began to burn the corner of his eyes. No matter how much he told himself he wouldn't cry and he'd stay strong, the tears still slowly made their way down his face.
Stormy looked around at Lloyd. "Should we go after him?"
"Um, probably." Lloyd pulled his hoodie over his head and hopped off the stage, leaving the auditorium and looking for Darren.
Stormy followed Lloyd out the door.
Lillian had already ran out of the auditorium looking around for Darren.
(im gonna let you find him, shade)
Darren reached into his pocket and pulled out a necklace with a small dolphin on it. He held it in his hands tight.
