Leah hoisted up the skirt of her dress and jumped off the edge of the crows nest. Leah grabbed onto a rope, and swung into the ships wall, kicking her legs onto it. She strode over to the captains quarters. They were empty. Leah seized her chance and picked the lock, entering swiftly and closing the door. She searched through memos, unfinished maps, cryptic notes, diaries, compasses. She hurriedly searched, looking at anything she could find to indicate what they were looking for.

"Whatever you're hiding, Simon……" she said, looking through his papers, examining from head to toe.

Cordella blinked a couple times and stood up. Right, fixing stuff. She remembered the carpenter on her last ship. He'd been a physically small boy, no older than 16, but surprisingly strong. Cordella had liked him well enough, but she did recall his face among the enraged sailors that had forced her onto the plank that night. Perhaps she should have showed a bit more appreciation to the boy. Maybe a bit more to all of them… shaking the thought away, Cordi swept her hat off the deck and shoved it on her head, walking towards the Captain's quarters. Maybe he had something for her to do.

She stuffed everything away and hid, hoping nobody would come in.

Looking to the ground, Cordi knocked but heard no response. She frowned, then knocked again, adding a, "Captain?". Again, nothing, so Cordella took it as an invitation. She opened the door and peeked in, then walked across the threshold and closed the door behind her. There was no one there. After a few steps inside, she was sure of it, but she'd gained access to the room, so she found no reason she shouldn't find out a little more about the man giving her orders. So Cordella took a few more steps, peering around the desk and the papers that lay strewn about. Except there were no papers strewn about. Perhaps he was just a very neat captain, but Cordella knew from experience there were always maps and plans and codes on any good leader's desk. Her eyes narrowed, an idea of what was happening growing in her mind.

(I like how nearly everybody is breaking into the captains quarters, no offense but that's just a little silly that no one would notice them stride right into the captain's quarters.)
