"That is part of it, and I also do believe it," James told her quietly.
"That is part of it, and I also do believe it," James told her quietly.
She shook her head closing her eyes again
James tilted his head, "Something wrong with that?"
"No" she said simply " nothing"
"Okay," James nodded a little.
" if you don't mind I would like to be alone now" she said tugging her knees to her chest and wrapping her arms around them as more tears slipped from her eyes
"I, of course," James nodded and began to step away, "I'll, um, see you tomorrow?"
" I guess" she said turning her head away to hide her flow of tears
James bit his lip and before he left asked, "Is there anything I can do to help?"
She shook her head, still turned away from him she sniffled
"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow," James nodded and left her alone.
Once he left Rebecca finally broke down crying
James didn’t know why he felt guilty or sad, but he dud. And he hated it.
Rebecca finally stopped crying and fell asleep

James left the castle after mid day so the sun's effect on him would be weaker. He went over to the clearing where Becca was looking for her.
Rebecca closed her eyes as she made her way back to the clearing
James spotted her and gave her a very slight smile, "Hello."
She smiled, "Hi" she said as she approached him
"How are you doing today?" James asked her taking a step cloesr to her.
" my fangs hurt and I'm really hungry" she admitted
"Hungry as in food or as in…" James trailed off at that. He had to ask the question even if it was a tad uncomfortable to just ask her.
