John texted Jackie in the middle of a droll meeting that was not really important and was only just done for formality "How is my precious baby doing and beautiful bride doing?"
John texted Jackie in the middle of a droll meeting that was not really important and was only just done for formality "How is my precious baby doing and beautiful bride doing?"
"Very well"
Jackie responded happily. Followed by, "Doctor says I'll be able to leave tonight."
John smiles and felt quite giddy at the thought of her and the baby being able to go home "That is great! Are you sure that will be okay for you to go home so early?"
"Yeah! The doctor says everything is looking exceptionally good and if I'm feeling alright, I can go home tonight. I will need a ride though. They don't want me driving."
John runs a hand through his hair as he got up and left the meeting room then he texts Jackie back quickly "If you really say so, I'm leaving work and will be at the hospital in about 15 minutes. How does little rose look?"
"Adorably wonderful :D"
Jackie waited and as the sun was setting, John came in. He spoke with the doctor then came over to Jackie. "Hi John."
John smiled upon seeing Jackie looking well rested and glowing "Hello love, you ready to go home and be official parents?"
"Yes." Jackie was helped up out of the bed and into a wheelchair (just to get her to the car safely). She wrapped Rose tightly in a pink blanket, holding her close to her chest. They walked out to the car together. All 3 of them.
John kept a protective arm around Jackie while she got into the car carrying Rose. John then drove them home and helped Jackie out the the car and into the house
Jackie carried Rose into the house with John's help and placed the now sleeping child into the temporary crib beside their bed. She changed quickly, kissed Rose goodnight and got into bed. "Our beautiful Rose."
John smiles as he watched the transaction between rose and jackie as he changed into his pajamas and then climbed into the bed "I have a feeling that you are going to be a wonderful mother Jackie"
"And you a wonderful father." She gave him a short kiss on the lips and cuddled into him, falling asleep soon after.
John smiles as he wrapped his arms around Jackie feeling content holding her close as he always did at night ever since she had moved in with him
Jackie woke up in the middle of the night to crying and got up swiftly and quietly as not to wake up John. She picked up Rose and carried her to a chair where she sat with her, gently singing to her and rocking Rose back and forth in her arms.
As John slept unaware that Jackie had gotten up he threw his arms up over his head snoring softly as he dreamed of little rose
"It's alright darling." Jackie whispered. "Mama's here. Shhhh"
John wakes up slightly and murmurs jackies name in a deep sleepy hoarse voice "Jackie…?"
"I'm here love." Jackie whispered. Rose had fallen asleep again.
John grumbles and opens one eye to look at Jackie holding rose "I would have gotten up and handled that love"
"No no it's okay. She's alright now." Jackie stood slowly and brought Rose back to her crib. "Night, my little Rose." She said before climbing back in with John. "Love you John. How about we get some sleep, huh?" She kissed him on the forehead and closed her eyes.
(Omg worked as a stage hand last night…and seen this really cute girl playing a ukulele and I am smittennnn)
John smiles tiredly then he nuzzles his head against Jackie as he closed his eyes and wrapped an arm around jackies waist "Mm…love you too jackie…good night"
(Aww cute)
Jackie fell asleep. This time there were no interruptions.
(I know right lol)
John mutters occasionally in his sleep and woke up to check on rose and jackie when he did so. He felt so protective and content
Jackie woke up to a kiss from John. "Mornin"
John grins as he looked down at Jackies face when she woke up and he excitedly whispered "Good morning baby"
