“Okay, that shouldn’t be too complicated.”
Septima shuffled towards the book on the bed and shut it before Arthur could catch a glimpse of the contents Skye had just been reading.
“Okay, that shouldn’t be too complicated.”
Septima shuffled towards the book on the bed and shut it before Arthur could catch a glimpse of the contents Skye had just been reading.
Arthur glanced at it, but rolled his eyes when Skye said something silently. "Anyway, mind showing me that room where you found the Alchemist's supplies?" he asked.
“Just don’t get caught where you’re not supposed to be,” Septima huffed, “I didn’t realize you’d both try to run around the palace trying to find that again.”
"We don't have to run around to find it." said Skye, summoning a silvery blue mist, and creating an immage of the castle.
“Hm. I’m learning new things every day with you two.”
Septima gave a slight smile.
"Tis the powers of a mystic element." Said Arthur watching as Skye indicated the hallway.
"Things where I came from were much more… simple, I suppose is the word," Septima replied.
She watched Skye and Arthur, then cast a glance back to the door behind them.
Skye looked up at her, "don't worry I'm watching the door." He said, as Arthur confirmed that he had the location.
"It's locked…" she said, "I'm just paranoid."
Septima walked up behind them and tried to see what they were doing exactly.
Skye was manipulating a magical version of a 3D hologram of the castle, explaining what he knew of the layout to Arthur.
Septima listened in so that she could take in any knowledge of the castle's layout she didn't know already. She stayed quiet as she looked over Skye's shoulder.
Skye moved to the side to give her room, re-explaining a few things, before finally letting the image be
Septima nodded in understanding as Skye spoke.
"How long do you guys think we can hold up this act?" she asked.
"If all goes smoothlywe should be able to hold it for a fair amount of time." said Arthur switching the illusions between him and Skye.
"There are probably people dying down there. I… I hope we don't have to wait too long to do something."
She shifted her stance a little.
"Oh yeah, was there any sort of indication of what they might use all that energy for?"
Arthur looked up at her. "That's a very good question." he said, the band on his wrist flashing. "How about we find out." he said.`
Septima looked surprised.
"You can just…? Do that? Alright then."
She glanced over to Arthur.
"Well, I'll need Skye's help." he said, sitting crosslegged on the floor. "You coming?" he asked, "I think the best way would be actually go see this dungeon for ourselves."
"W-what? We can't just go in there!" Septima refuted, "There are guards posted!"
Skye laughed, "Who said we had to go anywhere?" he said, sitting down next to Arthur, his blue silver mist surrounding them, and mixing with Arthur's violet and darker silver.
Septima gasped quietly.
"O-okay…"
She peered through the dark mist, and images of the prison started to clarify.
"You can even go places you haven't seen before?"
Arthur rolled his eyes, "Come one" he said, a tendril of mist solidifying into a vine and pulling her gently down next to them. The brothers linked hands and Skye pulled them into another diemension, filled with stars. Arthur had shrouded himself in mist so you couldn't see him clearly. But Skye had violet streaks all over his skin.
Septima shuddered a little as she looked around the other dimension's starry haze. She fell completely silent and decided to follow the brothers' lead.
Arthur kept the mist around him, hiding his face as he concentrated. His wings were just barely visible, and there seemed to be another person behind him.
Skye focused on keeping the link steady, making sure their minds were linked. "Whatever you do don't let go of me okay Septima?" he said, as the landscape around them began to twist and change.
"Didn't plan on it honestly," she muttered under her breath.
Septima watched closely, but had to close her eyes when the landscape started shifting; it was slightly dizzying to watch.
