Fae had run back to her house to back a small bag, and was wearing cute black and white flannel pyjamas. She usually just slept in a bra and a sweater, but she was decidedly not going to do that tonight. She found his hand and laced her fingers through his.
His other arm snaked over her shoulder to pull her close, "You're so nice and warm," he quietly humored.
Sorry I left like that, my recital started a bit early!)
She curled up into him, breathing in his smell. “Mm. You are too.”, she murmured.
Its alright! )
Cruz squirmed a little til his face was nicely snug under her chin and his nose bent against her throat. He sighed happily, breath tickling her.
Fae smiled softly, wrapping her arms around him and running one hand through his hair. Her thumb traced languid circled on his cheek.
(Well this is depressing, no one from any rps I’m in is on)
Oi )
Her little caresses helped soothe the stressed Spaniard to sleep.
(Hey!)
Fae held him tenderly, rocking back and forth ever so slightly. She didn’t fall asleep, but closed her eyes and rested peacefully.
Her companion breathed in measured inhales and exhales, heart calmed to a languid pace.
Eventually, Cruz’s tranquil breathing lulled her to sleep.
Sometime during the night, her companion left her side.
Fae woke up around 2am to chilly, empty, aloneness, realizing with a start that Cruz was gone. Half-asleep, she slipped out of his bed and peaked her head out of the room, worried instantly. “Cruz?”, she called softly.
The bathroom light was on, casting just a yellowish line through the bottom crack of the door.
( im back… lots of family stuff going on )
(Hey again! No problem, hope everything’s alright)
Fae padded down the hallway, knocking on the door gently. “Cruz? You alright?”
"M' fine," he answered quietly, tiredly.
“Okay.”, she replied. “Can I come in or are you— using the facilities?”
"No, you can come in," he quietly allowed.
(I htg soon)
She slipped inside, shielding her eyes from the light. “What’s wrong?”
"I felt a little sick, but it's going away now," he answered.
She sat down in the edge of the bathtub. “Do you know what caused it?” A touch of concern sparked in her eyes.”
"No," he exhaled, bracing his hands on the sink counter.
Fae inhales. “Anything I can do to make it better?”
"It's alright," he dismissed, turning on the sink to drag some cool water down his face with his hands.
Fae wanted to say more, to comfort him somehow, but she was too unsure about the root of the problem, so she stayed silent.
