"Never heard of that before. One time I ate forty chicken nuggets in one sitting though. Didn't even get sick." Blake shrugged and opened his wing a bit more, letting Ace have access to the rest of his unpreened feathers.
"Never heard of that before. One time I ate forty chicken nuggets in one sitting though. Didn't even get sick." Blake shrugged and opened his wing a bit more, letting Ace have access to the rest of his unpreened feathers.
"40 chicken nuggets? Why would you compress a chicken into a nugget?"
"You've never had chicken nuggets?" Blake let out a mock gasp. "What about French fries? Or a milkshake? I haven't had a milkshake in ages. You'd love them. They're like ice cream turned into a drink." Blake explained, his eyes glowing with excitement.
"OH MY GOSH YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF CHICKEN NUGGETS!?" Josh ran over to Ace.
"See! Josh gets it!" Blake grinned and wrapped a wing around Josh with a friendly smile.
Ace decided that Americans were crazy about food. Well, I can't blame them, if cheeseburgers are that good, than milkshakes should be nice too. "I have heard of a chicken nugget, Blake just told me about them." Ace petted Blake's unpreened feathers, so soft…
Blake lost track of the conversation for a moment. Ace petting his feathers was calming, not to mention, the last person to focus on his feathers was Ben. All he had been intent on was ripping them out as an unfair advantage. "Uhh… yeah. And fried chicken is good too. I haven't had any of this stuff in ages." Blake's mouth was watering at the thought of all these foods. "Ramen is really good too. Especially Josh's grandmother's ramen." Blake gave Josh a friendly nudge.
Josh grinned, happy for the attention. He startled a bit at the touch of the wings, but got used to it fairly quickly. He giggled as his watched Ace play with Blake's feathers.
Ace smiled, "I like ramen. It's a nice comfort food when someone you love has died."
Josh perked up at the sound of his name. "Oh, yeah, she's the best." He grinned widely. His smile rivaling the brightness of the sun.
"Or when you're all bloodied up and lost on a street in Seattle." Blake joked.
Ace got lost in dreamland again, his head swimming with images of ramen.
"He's dazing out again." Blake mumbled before giving Josh a mischievous grin. "Wanna draw on his face?"
Josh laughed. "Oh gosh, you looked TERRIBLE–oh! How is your wing now?" He turned around, glancing around at the wing. "Where did you get hurt again?"
"I think not." Ace snapped out of his haze and gave Blake what he imagined looked like a glare.
(Oops! You'd already said something. >~<)
No worries! We'll pretend it was before!
(AnywhoIgtgbye!)
g'bye!
(Bye @Mish!)
"Don't worry, Josh. It's pretty much all healed up. The feathers are growing back in and everything." He gestured to the side where Ace was on. A small patch of feathers that were smaller than the rest were growing in.
"Your feathers are adorable. You're such a cinnamon puff." Ace crooned.
"I am not! Josh is!" Blake gestured to Josh, who he'd already half covered under his wing.
"But your feathers are sooooo soft." Ace's eyes shined as he patted Blake's wings. "Zodiac's not as soft as this."
"I'm sure Peter and Dani's wings are just as soft, Ace." Blake's rolled his eyes, but to be honest he wasn't so sure. Before today he'd never even talked to someone else with wings before.
"If I had wings I would probably…..Yeah, I don't know what I would do.." Ace touched his arm, "But I have a tattoo that lets me hover an inch off the ground. Useless, but it was for a dare, so…."
