The elders were a combined pool of emotions. Some were angry at the princess’ choice of words, some were clearly annoyed with the situation, some just didn’t care, and some were shocked, as given by their gasping and all that. A faint clicking sound can be heard— it was the earpiece Dr. Kreuger had given to her before.

”Uhm yes… Mara, I will not be heading back to the kingdom soon. I’m getting chased by some annoying Setriutan magicians” Vincent’s voice came through and reported on what was happening to him.

Oscar nodded. As expected of an obedient guard. The crystal he kept in his pocket glowed and started to make a sound. Oscar stood up.
”Excuse me” he made his way towards the door and stood beside Valerie to answer the call.
”Yes? Your royal highness?” only his voice can be heard…
He took a long pause before eyeing Valerie.
”Lock the door…” he whispered to her as he got… something out of his suit’s inner pocket.

(I know the feeling too well…)
(Also, you’re not a pain, not in the slightest!)

@PrettyLittlePyro

Mara gave a sudden, wild grin at his words, which made the elders flinch. It was a well-known smile to them, one that promised mischief and danger. "Do you want help?" She crooned to the assassin, excitement barely contained in her voice.

She pushed back her hair, hoping he did. Then she could have an excuse to leave this meeting, which was going nowhere.

Vincent knew too much about the princess, he knew she wanted some action though that did come with the risk of her safety. However… if the kingdom was going to be at war with each other, might as well make the start of it all as dramatic as possible.
”That would be greatly appreciated as I am in ‘great danger’” he claimed. The sound of running can be heard though more likely than not it was Vincent getting chased down by a wolf or some other creature.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Well, gentlemen," Mara said cheerfully, standing up and streching. "Duty calls. What a lonely, boring life I lead." With that, she skipped out of the room, humming.

"You have no idea how much I needed that," she commented to Vincent, as she pulled on her NetArmor (like this, but red and gold) She grabbed the flexible Razor from the wall, and turned to go.

"Where are you?"

@ADog

Kreuger noticed Oscar's shifty behavior and began suspecting on it. He immediately changed his sitting stance so that it would be less vulnerable.
"P-B-T" He whispered through to his favorite assassin. It was a code known only between them. The scientist touched his hatchet from a hidden angle none could see.

Wissian had a very bad feeling. Call it a guy instinct if you will, but it was powerful. He stopped, allowing Raz to keep sliding down towards the forest. “No.. we shouldn’t be going down there.” He mumbled to himself. Whatever was down there, it meant harm. He twisted the two silver rings on his fingers, their numbers glowing. Who is down there, what has happened, and what will happen?
The magician gasped as a sharp pain erupted in his mind, rapid images flashing across his eyes. The bullets…
“Raz!”

Maerda looked out over her kingdom. It was beautiful, flourishing with bright emerald and magenta. She couldn’t allow the kingdom to fall in a war——they were the embodiment of peace. Everything that her ancestors had worked for sat in the path of danger every day, yet they believed that violence was not the way to protect them.
“Officer.. What do you suppose we will do if the other kingdoms wage war on us?”

@CasiCasino group

”Along the northern lines of ‘the forest’. You know the one, I’m by the withered trees” the assassin answered as another voice came in. Hearing the code, he changed his words.
”Never mind, I’m heading towards Set’s castle. Kreuger might be in trouble” he ended as the sound of rapid footsteps filled in the gap of silence.

The bullets would’ve missed… barely though. They were both safe yet there was no telling where the assassin could’ve been at this point. Though he was definitely within the forest.

”W-Well… your majesty…” the voice of the officer was shaky. He was nervous, anxious, possible scared as well.
”… personally, I believe that peace cannot be the answer every time. We are against a kingdom whose sole motivation is war…” the officer answered.

No longer waiting for Valerie to lock the door, Oscar did so himself… silently though. He started to walk back to his seat but while doing so, closing the curtains of the only window in the room.
”Well, people, I’m sorry to tell you that the meeting will have to be stopped due to a more important mission I must attend…” he took out what he was holding onto all this time; a clean yet threatening relic.
”… now then…” the man closed his eyes and held the relic out in front of him.
”Perish…” opening his eyes, the man’s natural green eyes turned to a crimson red tone with the door and window being covered in blue flames, not allowing the two representatives leave.
”Valerie, don’t worry, you are fine dear. These flames don’t affect us, Setriutans” the man claimed as the room started burning yet nothing was falling apart. These flames were not your normal kind it seems.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Well, more fun for me," Mara said, taking off. With her NetArmor, her movements were much, much faster, and took much less effort, and it took all her willpower not to scream with delight. She darted through the trees, practically skipping, and skidded to a stop near the castle walls. "So… in the castle, or still getting there?" She asked, looking around for him.

@CasiCasino group

”Getting near” Vincent answered. He decided that, hell, he’s going to be found anyways, why not make sure his princess knows where he is. He deactivated the silencer on his sniper and fired once into the air. The bullet was a reflective one as well so in broad daylight, it was quite easy to see the thing. He quickly activated the silencer again when some Setriutan guards came his way. Firing once at each of them was enough to kill magic-less entities.

@ADog

Kreuger saw the flame and sigh relieved. "And I thought you were going to kill me there" He smiled and stared at Oscar. He remain seated on his chair, calm as he kept his manner and attitude. "May I ask what you want to achieve from this?" The question was thrown to both the blonde man and the magician. He glanced to the royal guard briefly to see her reaction.

@The-Magician group

A heavy weight lifted from Maerda’s chest at the officer’s words. Knowing that he believed peace was not always the answer made him a useful ally. “War is coming to us. A lot of my people, if not all of them, are unwilling to fight. Pacifism is like a religion to this kingdom, and I fear that this kingdom will fall.”
The queen, though she would never say the words, felt weak.

@The-Magician group

Wissian vanished in the direction of the bullets, finding them lodged into a tree. With a bit of elbow grease he managed to pull them out, and scowled upon inspecting them. He had not seen these types of bullets before. He clenched his fingers tightly around the bullets, jumping back up to where he had originally been. He needed to show these bullets to the queen, perhaps she knew more about them than he did.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Found you." Mara grinned, moving gracefully toward where the bullet had fired. She encountered some guards, who could only stare in shock at her for a moment, before she smiled. "Hello, boys," she said, eyes flashing with amusement.

Before they could raise the alarm, she burst into action. She pulled her Razor from her arm and it pulsed slightly before stiffening into a strong, light blade. Skipping, Mara sliced at the first guard, an overhand cut, and sliced him in half, from head to legs, blood spraying everywhere.

"Well, that wasn't nice," she said, sighing, wiping blood from her eyes. That was all the other two guards needed. They charged at her, and she grinned ferally.

"Let's play."

She darted between the two, her Razor flashing out, chopping the arm off the closest one, who howled in pain and dropped to his knees, holding the bloody stump. She whirled toward the other, who held up his blade defensively. His eyes flashed, and thorns grew from the ground, wrapping around her legs. She pouted. "Hey! That's not fair."

She sliced the thorns away easily and swung at him, decapitating him neatly, before jumping on his chest a few times just to be sure. Then, she turned to the injured guard and cut his other arm off, before chopping his legs off, so he was a bloody, limbless mess. Then, without killing him, she ripped a piece of his tunic from him and used it to wipe off her blade, before tossing it aside and looking down at the guy. He was crying in pain. She sighed, bent down, and cut his tongue from his mouth, wiping her blade again before heading to where Vincent was.

"I'm coming. Just got held up."

Oscar gave the scientist wide eyes as his hands go up in similar flames. The arch magician vaulted over the table and grabbed the scientist by his neck. The magician threw the scientist at a wall that soon went up in flames with a glare from him. He sent another wave of flares towards the man before paying his attention to the royal guard from the ‘peace’ kingdom or whatever they call it.
He appeared next to her and, like what he did to Kreuger, grabbed the guard by her neck, causing a painful burn.

@CasiCasino group

The officer had noticed the loud screech through the air when a bright… ‘bullet’ came up from the middle of nowhere in the forest.
”Your majesty… could Cershestin and Setriutan be…” the officer started. He, though, passed his fears and smiled. Unsheathing his blade with his right hand and turning his left hand into a large tree trunk, he turned to his kingdom’s monarch.
”Excuse me but I will go ahead” he said, jumping down the ledge and into the forest.

Vincent soon spotted his princess through his goggles and he also saw the corpses she left behind.

”As expected. And I wondered where I got the decapitation part from” he teased as he looked through his goggles again.

”Kreuger’s fighting one of Set’s, he’s probably gonna win though. That magician doesn’t know how to move effectively” he commented before aiming his rifle to the left and firing twice, hitting a Setriutan’s guard’s shoulder and ankle.

”Lesson number one, make no sound whilst walking in danger zones—“ the assassin walked up to the kneeling guard, touching the barrel of his sniper against the guard’s forehead, pointblank, as the guard teared up and showed clear breakdown ”—lesson number two, don’t mess with a royal assassin” pulling the trigger, a crimson splatter dressed the trees around with a color both the princess and the assassin loved.

“No!” Maerda shouted, but it was too late. The officer had gone. She was alone on the balcony…
Desperate times called for desperate measures. Without hesitation, the Queen picked up her dress and ran through her palace. Officers passing looked at her in concern. “My lady?”
Maerda’s expression was lethal as she glared at the officers. “Secure the kingdom, don’t let anyone, or anything in or out, unless I give you the code!”
She continued running until reaching her bed chambers, and changed into something a little more suited for unladylike business. She threw open a dust covered chest, carefully removing what weapons she had stored inside, and leapt from her open window, following the officer’s direction from the tree tops.

@ADog

As Kreuger hit the wall, his body started to blink and become fuzzy. He was burning and was severely injured, he lied dead. The scientist suddenly disappeared as a broken and burnt drone dropped down creating a clank noise as it hit the floor.

"This calls for WAR!" He laughed inside his ship as he talked through the badge for both Vincent and Mara to hear. He had the evidence all stored in his device.

@IriDes

The figure of the guard that the magician was grabbing on was starting to fade away and reappeared in the middle of the room.

. Well well well~ Looks like the peace is not an option anymore, I’ve already saw what you’re going to do

Now DIE….

As soon as Varsha finished speaking, She emitted a dark aura around her body, various kinds of weapons appeared around her back. She stomped the ground and stared at the magician.

Come forth, Dragvandil

A giant Prussian colored sword appears in her hand, she holds the sword tight and slashed it on to the magician.

@CasiCasino group

The officer who had gone down was soon sent back into the kingdom; not as a living person anymore though. The corpse showed a bullet through head and several cuts down the body. The motionless and lifeless body was shot far, far enough that it had fallen amidst the roads of Atruxiavir, shocking the civilians.

Vincent turned towards the ship and chuckled after he had shot a random guard through the head and sent him flying with his shockwaves.
”That man did it again” he took off his goggled and hung them on his neck for the time being. However, he had something else to do.
”There is another person in there” he mentioned to his princess as he set off towards the palace. He held his gun tightly as he ran.

Oscar, being a fire magician, had the ability to turn himself to flames. Upon doing so, he was able to dodge the slash and stand by the window, trying to escape.
”See you later, I’m getting out of here—” upon opening the curtains and opening the window, the barrel of a sniper was aimed straight for his head.

Vincent smiled before pulling trigger after seeing the magician’s comically shocked face. He vaulted over the window and walked towards the drone Kreuger left inside the room.
He eyed it a bit before realizing that the machinery was burnt and that he couldn’t extract anything useful from it. Turning back towards the window, he finally saw the two other figures within the room; one of which he had met before.
