The general understood where the princess was going with this and he agreed. However, like many things, respect is still quite important. With an attitude like that from Joseph, you can’t really tell what he’s planning. He did not bring this up though.
”Your royal highness—“ the general followed the princess ”—should I send the scout team to the forest for the time being? Vincent must still be in there”
Phoenix who had been standing by Mara the entire time followed after the princesses silently. She wasn't fond of the new assassin, nor the order the princess had just given him. But she wasn't going to do anything about it, for now. She listened to the general speak of searching the forest. Her mouth stayed shut, but it wasn't the generals problem now was it? It was Joseph's problem now.
"If you want," Mara said indifferently. "It doesn't matter to me." She waved to Phoenix to follow her, and hurried away.
Phoenix followed after Mara leaving the general behind. She wondered what was going through the princess's head.
The general, upon hearing those words, turned the other direction and went to the barracks. He called the scout team out and told them to search within the forest for the former assassin. Unlike other missions, the scouts seemed scared of this particular mission for two obvious reasons; one, they would be killed upon seeing the assassin and two, they were not ready to die.
However, as it was an order from the general, they did as he asked. Five men stood up and got in their uniforms, heading out into the forest and each holding a weapon either a handgun or a knife of some sort.
The forest was huge, as it divided Atruxiavir and Cershestin while also touching parts of Setriutan. Scouring the whole place would take days perhaps even weeks so they could only do so much in the three hours they’d been given.
Mara went to her private rooms, and the first thing she did, although Phoenix was there, was to tear off her princess robes and throw them to the ground. She was still wearing a tunic and leggings underneath, but still.
She turned to Phoenix. "Did I ever tell you what was wrong with my mother? The whole story?"
"No, I don't believe you ever did your highness," Phoenix responded watching the princess curiously. She was unaccustomed to the princess so willingly undress in front of Phoenix, but Mara's tunic and leggings were still on. So all was well.
(Okay where the hell are we. I would have done something but I was at work)
(I think Varsha punched Wissian and her and Vincent escaped)
Upon hearing the question, Varsha answered ”Obviously, I’m a dragon elf, time manipulation can’t affect my senses, Duh…”
The assassin slowly nodded. He unsheathed his blade again, only to wipe it clean this time. He looked around and sighed ruefully.
”Are you free? Like, right now?” he asked plainly, not really putting much curiosity within those words. His eyes showed otherwise though when he turned to face her.
”Oh? Is that true?” the Sorceress sat in her throne room when an arch magician came in and told her about the fact that Vincent had been called a betrayer of the Cershestin kingdom.
”Yes, your royal highness” the arch magician nodded in confirmation as he spoke.
Plopping a grape into her mouth, the Sorceress stood up.
”I wonder if he would like to join our kingdom… perhaps as a vessel…” she giggled a bit.
”Tell the three magicians, you know the ones, that their job now is to find and kill him on sight alongside anyone who is with him”
”Affirmative, your royal highness”
”Well… I have to return to my queen’s side, but my wyvern mount was still missing and I can’t sense its presence anymore, maybe the magician had killed it already.” She make an irritating face before continued ”Welp, now I’m quite free, it would take at least a day for me to travel back to Atruxiavir on foot anyway, and you? What’s your plan?” She asked him back, making a goofy face.
(I think for this one I might need to do this)

The assassin paused a bit. What had gotten into him? He wanted to do something. Really badly as well. He let out a soft ‘fuck it’ as he turned back to the royal guard. He pressured her against the tree behind her and went wild on her lips. His hands were on her body; one on her waist, the other behind her neck. He soon let go…
”You, you are my plan for the day…” he answered. As he was not allowed to go back Cershestin, only his house in the forest remained a safe place for him… and he could really use a roommate.
(I literally have no idea what I’m supposed to do now)
(I’ll give you an idea!)
When the arch magician left, he went straight into the fields and got out a crystalline-like gem. He spoke into it…
”Attention, magicians Raz, Wissian, and Valerie. The Sorceress would like to give you a new order that is to find and kill an assassin named Vincent on sight. Repeat, find and kill an assassin named Vincent on sight along with any companions” when he finished, the gem broke into three shards and travelled their ways, towards the three magicians separately.
(Oh boy!!)
After hearing the message, Wissian hesitated. He couldn’t kill Vincent, not after realising how lonely he was. The Atruxiavian guard was another matter, he didn’t mind getting rid of her. He ran back towards where the guard had assaulted him, and visibly cringed when he found the two of them close again. “For the love of the gods can you please leave each other alone!” he groaned, twisting his rings.
(Ahh… here we go, lets the funs begin)

As Vincent regained his footing and snaked his arms around Varsha, holding her close. Varsha’s
exhaustion disappeared in a moment, erased by the incredible fact that Vincent was in her arms right here, as she lifted her face to kiss him. She couldn’t refuse his offer and bent her head to cover his sweet lips with her’s. The heat and pressure of his mouth took away all the residual anxiety and worry still floating in her and filled her with wild elation instead.
(Ah, something i forgot to mention about Wissian.. he’s extremely heterophobic)
(Then it’s time to fuel Wissian’s rage >:D)

No longer paying attention to his other senses, Vincent slowly opened his eyes. His sharp irises would’ve been less than an inch away from Varsha’s. He knew someone was watching them but he couldn’t care less. After all, he’d been in situations like these where he was so focused on something, anything else was deemed unnecessary.
He leaned close to the guard’s ear and whispered the words…
”Want to go to my place…?”
(Oh you’ve done it now…)
Sparks ignited inside Wissian’s heart, in his blood. It boiled to the point where his fingers began to twitch. His form disappeared before suddenly, Vincent’s body was torn away from the guard. The young magician’s eyes burned so harshly that even the bravest of individuals would take a step back from him. “For your own safety, do not associate yourself with her.” he turned to look into Vincent’s eyes, his own now showing fear. His words came out as a plea. “Please…”
(You might want to read what I wrote…)
(Why am I in these choice games again?! ;-;)
Vincent was hesitant. He could do one of two things; run away as Wissian would like or fight…
He took several moments to decide…
”Apologies, but I don’t take up requests that easily… even if it means getting myself killed” he replied, giving Varsha a quick glance, making sure she was fine.
This man, if he remembered correctly, was a time manipulator. This was going to be a hard fight if one did started to say the least.
“You don’t understand.. An order has been put out for your head.” Wissian kept his ground, playing the concerned boy for as long as he could. “If that woman is as loyal to her queen as she says she is, she will not hesitate to manipulate you in order to take you in.” His eyes fell to Vincent’s blade, but he didn’t back away. “I have foreseen that this woman will be your downfall…”
Varsha sensed someone rushing towards them, the person then appeared beside them and ruined the mood, she turned her face to Vincent ”We’ll continue this later, you understand? And yes let go to your place after this” as she said that she stretched her arms and shoulders bending her coolie hat slightly downward.
”For now let's teach this party pooper a lesson”
