Phoenix looked at the expensive peice of jewelry. She was the secretary yes, but she prefered to keep herself on the poorer end of things, "I can't possible keep this. Though I will definitely do the announcement. Please your highness keep it."
"Blood can be a good look," Valerie countered though cringed after she said it, "Forget I said that. No I don't need anything else, but if you would like assisstance cleaning I would be happy to help."
(Right hold on lemme catch up a sec)
"Are you sure?" Mara asked, although she was not sad about the idea. "He did give it to you, after all."
It was pretty, she had to admit. And Vincent had killed to get it, and she loved things that required blood to own. She had an entire collection of things like that. She walked toward the door, flinging it open, and startling the guards who were outside.
"Come on, go give the announcement."
Galen laughed softly at what she had said. "It's fine. You have better things to do than bother with trying to help me clean up. It's a lost cause."
(Can someone give me a rundown of the assassination, I think I missed that part)
(Vincent, my baby boy assassin, went on a duty near Atruxiavir and along the way back, found a group of bandits who threatened him. Being who he is, he decapitated all of them and possibly leaned their bodies against the trees in the forest that divide Atruxiavir and Cershestin. He also took all jewelry in possession of the bandits)
(Only people who work within the palace know about this piece of news and that it cannot be revealed to the public as for the time being. Those ‘bandits’ were people from Atruxiavir so it’s only fair that the guards found their corpses while own patrol)
(Oh man, Altrince… how bloody were the murders XD?)
"Your highness," Phoenix responded hiding back her laugh. This situation was more comical at the moment than it probably should be, "He requested for me to take it flr you."
She saw that they were at the doors and gave the princess the necklace back, "I'll go make the announcement now," she stepped through the doors and announced quite clearly and loudly, "All rise for her grand annoyance, Princess Mara."
"No, no I don't mind at all!" Valerie opened her spell book and flipped through the pages, "In fact I have a few spells I would like to try if you don't mind?"
"Eh. Did he? I wasn't really paying attention." She slipped the necklace around her neck, and swept into the room, head held high.
The elderly counselors all looked shocked and horrified at Phe's announcement. "You should not speak of the Princess like that!" One of them said.
Mara waved her hand dismissively. "Oh quiet, you old busybody, I asked her to."
"Sure!" Galen wasn't sure how he felt about it, but you should never say no to a magician. "What kind of spells?"
(You sure you wanna know? I can explain them in more detail when one of the characters do bring that up to Vincent…)
Pheonix had a smile on and nodded. She was the princess's secretary and friend so it wasn't like this was an uncommon occurrence. Just one that rarely happened, "Indeed she did."
Valerie continued to flip through her book, "Depends on what you want the spell to do. I can shoot water at the walls, possibly have the blood peel off on it's own. Make your cleaning equipment do it tbemselves, though that one can get out of hand at times."
(Holy shet! I missed a lot!)
Raz was silent for a moment or two after the Sorceress asked the question. "I'd say maybe if there was a big enough reason for us to unite we would, but I think the world would have to be ending for that to happen." She explained as she fiddled with her robes, habit she had developed when she was nervous or uncomfortable. "So yes?"
“I have a couple of scenarios in mind, where the kingdoms do align…” Wissian smiled, holding the clock on his necklace in his hands. However he wasn’t physically allowed to say anything revealing about those scenarios. To tell the future is to change the future…

Several advisors stood before Maerda as she paced back and forth in front of her throne. The news of the assassination most definitely shocked everyone in the room, there wasn’t a sliver of doubt that someone from one of the other kingdoms had been the assassin in this scenario.
“The bodies have been recovered and the streets have been cleaned.” One advisor told the queen. “Any witnesses have had their memories removed.”
The queen only nodded, trying to subdue her anger. War was slowly becoming more likely, and when it arrived, her people would be slaughtered.
Cynthia nodded and smiled at the magicians’ words.
”I see, glad to know you all agree with me on that. I do believe we could be united under certain circumstances yet it’s as unlikely as it is… you two do know about the killings that happened near Atruxiavir, do you not?” the Sorceress asked. It was a Royal only info and it might be great for the magicians to know about this.
Some of the officers whispered about something to which it was quickly reported to the monarch.
”Some reports have said that the killer could’ve been the Cershestin’s princess’ personal assassin, the one miss Versha reported to us before” one of the braver officers brought up. They made sure no one outside the people within the palace heard this piece of information. It cannot be slipped.
Some were still surrounding the bard, though. They were intrigued as to what the musician was doing, taking so long. It wasn’t necessary for the musician to hurry up though. They were still on time.
The ship landed in a clearing not far from the palace, it's extended landing support softly touch the ground creating the least noise possible. Kreuger opened the door, with his personal ship being high enough for him to stand, he left the vehicle with ease. He expected the Atruxiavir royal guard to arrive soon. "I've arrived safely, sir" The scientist mocked through the badge as if he was ordered by the assassin.
Vincent heard the man’s voice loud as clearly via his earpiece and through the badge, spoke the words: ”Thanks for the information, sir”
Well, it was only fair to address the mocking man with a mocking tone. He then returned his attention the female. He had realized that his sword had been somewhat loosely sheathed so he pulled it out and re-sheathed it, making a ‘clank’ sound when the handle of the blade hit the metallic heads of the sheath.
Varsha suddenly turned around with a shocking look on her face, what a surprise. Her first idea was just to play around with him, she honestly didn’t think that the idea would’ve work out, heck, this is even beyond her expectation, to the point that even her spirit is about to leave her body. This is the first time in two hundred and twenty years that she had been in contact with men this close, and to be embraced by one this young, this handsome. His face is now next to her neck, under her giant coolie hat, she can even feels his soft breath on her skin. She didn’t know what to do anymore. The face of an ice queen, the emotionless face is now shining bright red, her nose, her cheeks all the way to her pointy ears and she couldn’t even resist it.
”Tee-hee-hee-hee-hee” she quietly giggling from the weird and tickling sensation.
Once the assassin finished licking he stepped back, at that point she was already about to pass out.
The assassin glanced at eyed her expressions. He decided to move closer to her.
”Are you… sick…?” he asked naively, placing a hand on the guard’s forehead. A loose hair strand came the way of the man to which he used his other hand to get tuck it behind his ear.
”Why is your face so red and warm…?” he asked, placing his other hand, the one he’d previously use to move his hair strand, on Versha’s cheek.
“I am aware, my lady.” Wissian nodded, rubbing his chin. Something that he would never share with the Sorceress was what the clocks allowed him to see. He would never risk his own life by exposing himself like that. “I have reason to believe that the assassin was sent from Cershestin’s princess, though I can not say why she would do that.”
——————————————————
When the officer ran in and relayed the news to Maerda that the killer could very well have been from Cershestin, her eyes saw red. “Does that little Princess assume to declare war on us? Surely she knows that would cause an imbalance among the kingdoms.” The queen kept pacing, her dress floating out gracefully with every step. What exactly was going on??
As the assassin touches her cheek which are already as red as a plum, she can feel the heat rushing throughout her body, she chest is pounding like its going to explode, she had never felt anything like this before. Because their height was relatively the same, she can look into the his with her glowing violet irises without a problem.
”You really are an interesting person, I want to remember you.”
”State your name….”
Cynthia agreed with Wissian’s ideas.
”She’s hotheaded, I know that for a fact. Perhaps the assassination was unintended but I have my doubts” the Sorceress shrugged.
A group of officers came running in and started stating a situation to the Sorceress. She’d lean in and listen. When she understood the situation, she replied with: ”That’s fine, tell the old man to come in first”
The officers were unsure as to how to deal with the situation. Never before have seven of the locals have been killed in such cruel ways. They waited for orders, perhaps from the guards or better, from the queen.
The man wasn’t expecting such a request. He’d question whether or not he’d answer. He gave in…
”Vincent… Vincent is what you can address me by…” his voice, an angelic and soft tone. His face did not show a smile, that was true. However, his actions showed warmth. He slowly leaned in…
Motion and moving can be heard from the wood. Vincent turned towards the sound and went back to his sniper rifle. Not saying a word to the female, he dashed off and into the woods, following the sound and aiming along the way…
However…
When he turned to leave and get his rifle, he had dropped something. It was a pendant, closed and beautifully carved. The man was already gone, and there was no way to tell where he went.
It had been a while since Maerda had needed to make such a big decision, but for the better of her people, she needed to go against everything they believed in…
She turned to the officers, a dangerous fire igniting in her eyes. “Violence is never the way, which of you believe that? Which of you believe that violence will get us nowhere, especially in a war?”
Raz frowned. "Yes, my lady. Wissian told me about them not too long ago. It would make sense for the Cershestin princess to be behind the killings. Let's be honest, can they even be called assassinations. It was more like slaughtered." She said.
Once the gaurds were done talking with Cynthia, Raz popped the question. "You said that you had other plans for use, my lady?"
When the officers and guards heard such words from their queen, they were both surprised and satisfied. It has been a topic of conversation for a while but no one really brought it up.
One particular officer, a clearly brave one, went up to the throne.
”No one does, your majesty” he knelt down as he spoke though.
”Your majesty—“ another officer spoke ”—miss Varsha is on her way to Setriutan. Updates from her will be coming soon it seems. We might get to know some interesting information after such meeting” the officer in question reported.
”Yes, yes indeed”
Cynthia snapped her fingers as a black Rook piece appeared in her hand. Upon releasing the piece and letting it fall, the three were teleported outside the palace.
The Sorceress gestured outward the kingdom; towards what can only be seen as the forest and mountains that divided Atruxiavir and Cershestin.
”It is rumored that the Cershestin assassin who killed those bandits live within the perimeters of this large forest…” she started.
”… Bring him to me, no matter dead or alive” she stated with her usual innocent smile. Her true sadistic nature was within her words.
”You two know how much I don’t like failure, so good luck~” she left them there as she walked back into the palace.
”Oh, one more thing—“ she turned back to face the two magicians ”—keep this a secret~ Your lives depend on it.” she gave them one last playful smile as she opened the doors back into the palace.
The scientist waited no longer for an escort. He trod along, his personal guard following behind his back and walked through the palace wall into the courtyard. He observed the design and architecture of the buildings. Kreuger observed the difference in the design between princess Mara's palace. It definitely looks magical to him.
