Jackie looks at the stone. She feels like she's seen it before but isn't quite sure where she saw it. "Yeah… I think I do. I don't know where I know it from though…"

John pulls back slightly and looks down at Nym then leans in and places a soft kiss on Nyms forehead and mumbles softly "Nym….why not tell me sooner?"

Tears streaming "I-I-I don't know. I wanted to fight it. I just thought… You'd feel like this about someone else."

John chuckles softly and pulls Nym closer and coos gently "Hey…its okay…don't beat yourself up." Joh reaches up and brushes a hair from Nyms face and gazes at her "Nym, did you ever wonder why I always jump at the chance to see you?"

She shook her head "But, the other girl would be crushed. what about the girl in the shop?" She rambled on about other girls

John unwraps his arms from around Nym and reaches up and holds her face in between his hands "Nym, I am fully aware of Jackies apparent crush. Which is why I was going to tell her that I not interested ..later when we go hang out. But for now I want you to know that I care about you, maybe more then I should but I do nym. Don't discredit me please"

Nym stumbles over her words, slowly she becomes childlike "I don't want to take you away from anyone. I fell like it's mean."

John laughs then places a kiss on her nose and smiles "Your not Nym, if you want me to leave and give you time I will. If thats what it takes"

Nym giggles "I am 27 and acting like a child, what is wrong with me?" she walks past John and bounds down the stairs. She skips to the back door and spreads her wings "I need to get Raimond."

John frowns then shakes his head at Nyms actions and nods "Sure…you go get Raimond..I'll wait for you" john growls inwardly feeling irritated and like he was wasting his time but pushes back his doubts not wanting past mistakes ruining his future

Jackie, having a fair idea of what the stone might be, asks to hold it and sure enough when she holds it an image flashes before her eyes. It showed John embracing Nym, kissing her forehead and then proceeding to kiss her nose. Jackie shoved the stone back into Adeline's hands. "Just as I thought. The stone of desire. This stone, when held will show an exact image of the current actions and whereabouts of the thing or person the holder desires most." Jackie avoids telling Adeline what she saw. "Keep it safe. There are others but clearly, it was meant for you. They appear to the people who need it most." Anticipating Adeline's question, Jackie says, "You probably didn't see anything because the thing/person you desire most you desire them to be gone, that is your desire and so it shows nothing. I gotta run, see ya later." Jackie runs off, holding back her tears. She can't believe what she just saw, but since it has no sound it could all be a misunderstanding. She had to find John.

Adeline sat motionless. What the heck?

( keep looking for John ) Suddenly an image flashed through Adeline's head. A boy, leaning in for the kiss. His hand on a gun, taking the life of her parents. Adeline screamed and almost dropped the stone.

Jackie, running back towards the coffee shop hears a scream. Knowing it's probably Adeline again, she keeps running undeterred. John is nowhere to be found.

John leaves Nyms house once she is gone and runs back to his house but on the way john feels like someone was looking for him and so he stops "Hmm…?" John listens then he jerks in head up and curses…he forgot Jackie!

(Sorry sorry, I've been enveloped by waterpolo) Nym gets to Raimond and face-palms, John was upset and she knew. She wanted him to understand why she acted the way she did. While in the truck she hesitated to locate him with her ability "Oh, John. I'm sorry." Nym drove home, but she knew John wasn't there. When she got home she began to cook, her ultimate stress reliever

John waves off the idea of talking to Jackie , knowing she will be upset and John couldn't deal with that at the moment. So John pulls out his phone and texts Nym saying " I'm going to be gone for a day or two, don't worry about me while I am going to be gone"

Nym's phone buzzes on the counter. It was John, she texted back, "Alright, be safe please. Do I need to do anything specific while you're gone?"

Of course either way she would worry, but John couldn't know that

John frowns at his phone for a long moment then texts back "If you could check up on my daughter once in a while I would greatly appreciate it"

"Sure, but will she know I'm checking up? Also, why the frown?" Nym was very confused about John's emotion, but she was sure about one thing; something was troubling him.

John sighs then replies back "Yes she will know that you are, and the frown although I have no idea how you knew via texting was because I am frustrated Nym"

Nym was getting irritated, only a little "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked. If you must know it's because of a link. I'll explain when you get back. Also, I'm sorry you're frustrated, and I'm sorry if I had a part in it. I'll talk to you later. I'll let you know when I check on your daughter."

John puts phone away feeling bad that he hurt Nyms feelings but assures himself that when he gets back that he will talk to her. After a day and a half John arrives back and drives directly to Nyms house. Not sure how he will explain the multiple wounds and bruise on his face and elsewhere or how he will explain his feelings
