"Oh, hmm. Interesting." Nym grinned and tilted her head to the side listening to his heart, waiting for the test "We can get back a lot quicker another way. Do you trust me?"

John nods knowing he completely trusts her "Yes, but you already knew the answer to that question before you asked silly"

Nym smirked and slowly dropped into a crouch "I know, just needed insurance." She sprang up holding his hand still and from her back grew to large wings a similar color to her sandy brown hair. She flew and listened to his heart making sure that he wasn't having a major panic attack. He may have been a lot bigger than her, but her ability caused her strength to increase as she flew. She landed in a small clearing a little ways away from where she parked and set John down gently. She laughed as she landed. "What a rush! Did you drive down here, do I need to drive you to your car?"

John laughs when she sets him down and pulls her into a gentle hug and murmurs softly "You know that I have wings too right? And I think I would have won in a race against you!" John pokes her side playfully and smirks

Nym's face boils, red hot, she felt childlike and small in his arms "I know, I'm sure you would. I'm still learning." Nym giggles and looks up at him with a million questions in her eyes, but she repressed the all

John gazes back down at Nym and smiles then after long moment he replies with "I think you would love it on my home world. There are amazing spots to fly out and see , its really breath taking.

Jackie looks over to see John leaving with Nym. "Sorry Adeline I have to go! WAIT UP JOHN! YOU SAID WE COULD SPEND THE DAY TOGETHER!"

Nym mumbled under her breath to herself 'you're really breath-taking', but instead spoke "Um, I'm sure I would. I don't get to fly often, I'm still trying to work on my shield from the Menschen. Sorry, humans. When I'm nervös bin. Ich sprechen Deutsch. Ah, sorry." places a hand on her temple

Its fine…sometimes I tend to speak in Italian. Plus its quite cute when you do speak in german Nym" John smiles and slowly lets Nym out of his grasp with a small chuckle

Adeline stood, dumbfounded. "uh okay." she whispered under her breath. With a shake of her head, she got in her car and drove down into the woods. Once out of her car, she sipped her coffee as she walked down the small gravel trail that nobody took anymore. When she came out at her pond, she took off her coat and jeans to reveal a bathing suit she'd slipped on before leaving the house. Finishing her coffee and setting it down, she dipped her toes into the cool water. Perfect she thought, and jumped in. For a few seconds, the water froze her through. Ice spilled through her. Then, all was normal, and she was able to breath.

Nym frowned and mumbled "Es ist nicht süß. We should go." Nym discreetly shivered from the cold John left behind, but suddenly her eyes fluttered and her knees buckled underneath her

John panics slightly seeing Nym fall slightly and grabs her to hold her up " Nym?! Whats wrong?!" John doesnt wait for her answer as swiftly picks her up in arms and carries her home. Once there he get her inside and lays her back on her couch

Nym's eyes fluttered, when he laid her on the couch her fireplace burst into flames. The flames licked up around the wood causing Nym to sweat. Her hand twitched slightly and then all at once everything stopped. Her eyes stopped fluttering, the fire died down to just the embers, but her hand still twitched. She began to mumble something in a raspy tone. "Es ist okay, ich werde in Ordnung sein."

Adeline lay on her back at the bottom of the pond, staring out its glassy surface. Though the pond was small, it was VERY deep, but very clear too. She sighed and decided to find some turtles to mess with. Bingo! she thought when she found four of them swimming by each other. Just as she went to mess with them, something caught her eye. A reddish purple\black stone. She swam over to grab it, but when her fingers brushed it, something pulsed, sending electricity through her and sending her sailing. She even flew out of the water, and landed on the rocky bank with a thud. "Ow…" she groaned. ( Guys I think this stone needs to fit in with all our stories! Anyone else agree? )

Jackie walks out of the coffee shop, a little disappointed. She heads towards the pond and sees Adeline laying there rubbing her head. "Adeline? is that you? What happened?"

Adeline leaps to her feet, but then staggers a bit. SHOOT! it's Jackie… "I was… exploring. And I went for a swim… in the freezing cold… because it's uh, exhilarating? Yeah. And then… an… eel came after… me?" she said, then hung her head when she realized her story was TOTALLY stupid.

Jackie barely believes her. "An…eel?"

Adeline sighs. "I can breathe under water and I found a magical rock that electrocuted me and shot me onto land."

John is just standing there in slight shock as to what he just witnessed and shook his head in disbelief. Not really believing what Nym said John kneels next to the couch and takes Nyms hands in his "Nym… Don't lie to me."
