Daus pushed himself up, leaning against his elbows as he pressed a quick kiss to Erikos' lips. "I have to hand it to you, it really was quite romantic," he chuckled, a smile tugging the corners of his lips up as he looked towards Erikos.
"First kiss on a beach? That's the stuff white tourists everywhere would kill for," Erikos joked. He pressed a kiss to Vin's nose before rolling off of him and onto his back next to him
"Gods, don't even get me started on tourists," Daus groaned, leaning back down next to Erikos as he sifted through the warmer sand with his left hand absentmindedly. "They always me their phones to take a picture, but I don't even know how to work it so I just stand there awkwardly," he chuckled, recalling the number of times that he had to explain that he didn't know how to use a cell phone.
Erikos laughed at that. "Oh my god, that's great," he chuckled. He flopped in the sand, grinning as he scooped a handful up and plopped it onto Daus' stomach
"What are you up to?" Daus hummed, looking down towards Erikos as he placed the scoopful of sand on his stomach. He laughed softly at the feeling before laying his head back down against the warm sand, trying to remember the last time he had just laid down under the sun.
"Making a sand castle on your stomach," Erikos answered before scooping some more sand onto Daus' stomach. "Actually, no, I changed my mind. I'm going to bury you and then I'll make a sand castle on your stomach," he said, grinning as he began scooping sand onto Daus' body
"A sand castle, huh?" Daus chuckled, a smile brightening his features as he looked towards Erikos. A small laugh escaped him as Erikos continued to scoop sand onto him, the laughter turning into a rare fit of giggles. "Dork," he added in between laughs.
"Dweeb," Erikos said, grinning as he leaned down to peck Daus' lips. He returned to his task, shoveling handful after handful of sand on top of him until he was decently covered in it
"At least I'm a cute dweeb…well, hopefully," Daus chuckled, smiling at Erikos' kiss before he let his eyes fall shut after a few moments. He could probably fall asleep here, though the constant weight of new sand kept him awake.
"You're definitely a cute dweeb," Erikos said, smiling happily. There was now a decent amount of sand on top of Daus, and it was a few more scoops before the other was totally covered from the neck down. Satisfied, Erikos drew some water from the ocean over to wet some of the sand before beginning to make a sand castle on Daus' chest
"Either this sand is way too heavy, or I should lift weights more often," Daus joked, cracking an eye open to see Erikos begin to make the sandcastle on his chest. He let out a small yawn, closing his eyes again as a small, happy smile made it's way across his lips. He would honestly stay here forever with Erikos if he could, completely forgetting his troubles in the underworld.
"I think you need to lift more weights, babe," Erikos joked. He started forming the sand castle, smiling as he did so. Distantly, there was a strange sort of yapping sound coming from towards the river. Erikos frowned in confusion, turning for a moment to look in that general direction. Suddenly Baal came bounding into view, but instead of being roughly the size of a large dog, he was now half the size of a tree. Erikos let out a surprised yelp as the dragon skidded to a stop, yapping as they knocked Erikos down in the sand and began licking his face
"Is that Baal?" Daus asked curiously, opening his eyes as he pushed part of his body out of the sand to see the giant creature on top of Erikos. He laughed at the sight, brushing some sand out of his damp hair as he realized how large the spirit had gotten.
"Yep, that's Baal," Erikos managed as Baal continued to lap at his face with an unreasonably orange tongue. Erikos made a noise of disgust as Baal nearly licked his mouth. "Okay, okay, stop that," he managed, pushing the dragon's face away with his hands. Baal plopped down onto the sand, purring as he rolled around cat-like on his back. Erikos laughed as he watched Baal before squinting at what looked like a sticky note attached to the axe in Baal's chest. He grabbed it, squinting at the uniquely Vien handwriting. "Looks like lunch is ready."
Daus nodded, managing to push himself up from the sand as he chuckled lightly at what Baal seemed to be doing. He studied the axe lodged in the spirit's chest in an attempt to try and remember anything that could fit in with that, though nothing came to mind. Maybe he could help pinpoint where Baal had died with some of the older gods.
Erikos got to his feet, yawning and stretching as he did so. Baal yapped eagerly, continuing to roll in the sand for a moment before getting up. "Alright, let's go grab lunch. Then maybe we can come back and go swimming or something
(Lmaooo, I made an rp, and the website decided to make 5 copies of it. Though, it's a supernatural rp if you want to join.)
"Sounds good," Daus nodded, laughing lightly as he watched Baal roll around in the sand for a few moments. "Does he usually get this big?" He asked, glancing up towards Erikos curiously.
(lmao you think that's bad? one of my friends had notebook make 32 copies of a new rp)
"Oh, he gets way bigger. He's actually the size of a skyscraper, but he can't get that big in our world without a whole lot of help from Vien. The last time he got that big he knocked Vien out cold for two days just from the amount of energy used," Erikos explained
(Oof, 32? That's pretty bad.)
Daus nodded in interest, glancing towards Baal as if he were imagining the creature as a skyscraper. After a few moments, he gave up, unable to bring himself to think of something so large…especially something that looked like a dragon. "Are there others like him?" He asked, finally looking back over towards Erikos.
“Nope. I think he was the only one of his species, even when he was alive,” Erikos said, beginning to walk back towards the river. Baal hopped up, wagging his tail as he followed after him
"What is his species exactly..?" Daus asked, following after Erikos as they began to make their way towards the river and the other's house. Baal seemed to have different qualities from multiple animals, from wagging his tail and rolling around in the sand, though his personality was probably just like that.
“Not sure. We just call him a spirit, though Vien is pretty sure he was a minor guardian at one point,” Erikos said with a shrug
Daus nodded, watching as Baal bounded next to them as they made their way towards the river once again. As much as he wanted to stay here with Erikos, he would probably have to leave sometime tomorrow. Though, maybe he could come back and take them somewhere in the future? Letting out a faint sigh and shaking his head, he let the thoughts dim away, knowing that Erikos would probably forget about him after a while.
Erikos led them down the river, where they eventually got to the cabin. Baal shrank back to his smaller form before bounding into the house. Erikos laughed a little before following him, licking his lips as the smell of pizza wafted towards them
"Smells good," Daus hummed, watching Baal bound into the house before he followed after Erikos, towards the smell of Vien cooking. Suddenly, the thought of Vien seeing both of them kiss on the beach filled his mind. They hadn't seen that, right? Just thinking about the possibility of that happening cause a faint flush to work its way across his cheeks.
