"In a way it's an emp and a bomb." he says, grabbing her hand. "Now. Let's get out of here. It'll explode in a few minutes."
"In a way it's an emp and a bomb." he says, grabbing her hand. "Now. Let's get out of here. It'll explode in a few minutes."
"Wait, where's that woman from earlier? Alison, I mean?" Penny asked.
"I hope shes out of harms way." Will says, running still.
"We should look for her, right? I don't just run away and leave people… people to die."
"Alright." He nods. "Let's get going."
"She was talking about her friend earlier, that she was going to find him right? I know where they might have taken him." Penny said.
"The doctor? Yeah, please show me." Will says, looking at her.
Penny ran down the corridor, dragging Will along with her. They came across a room where the sounds of machinery clunked about through the door. "Through here, this is the conversion chamber." she said, opening the door and sneaking inside.
Alison heard a lot of noise coming from up ahead. She crawled though the vents and hopped down into the room, where two Cybermen were strapping the Doctor onto some sort of electric chair looking thing. "Doctor!" she shouted. "Alison, get out of here!" the Doctor replied, struggling against the restraints. "Not without you, idiot." she said, dodging the deadly beams of light that were being shot towards her.
(Actually, just letting you know, I may be on and off for most of the day so late replies will be common I'm afraid.)
Will follows after her and peeks in.
"Will, we need to deactivate that thing. The control panel is closer to your friend than to us, but if we're careful we can sneak over to it. Unfortunately, once we get there there will still be the problem of the Cybermen guarding it." Penny whispered.
"Want me to distract them?" He asks, looking towards her.
"How? All you can do is make your hands glow." Penny said.
"Not really." He focuses and chuckles holding a bow and arrow out of light. "Tell me when you're ready." He says, pulling back.
"Ready when you are." Penny said, preparing to run towards the controls.
He nods and shoots the light, making it explode.
Penny ran to the controls, and when Alison saw her chance she did the same. "How do these things work?" Penny asked herself. Alison just started pressing as many buttons as possible, hoping it would overload and stop the conversion process. Instead, the Cybermen started to short circuit and a few would explode, but the conversion chamber was still active. "Will! A bit of help here!" Alison shouted.
Will nods, shooting another light arrow, watching it explode close to the metal men.
"Damn…. just shut down already!" Alison said, taking off her shoe and jamming the heel into the control panel. Suddenly, everything stopped and the Doctor was released from the conversion chamber. "Well then, that's better. And it seems you've shut down their systems entirely, which means…. in simple terms, a very large explosion." he said. "Run!"
Will nods, "The bomb I planted in the power core is gonna explode any moment now, so we might wanna get going!"
"You planted a bomb? What about all the innocent people still in here, might I ask?" the Doctor snapped.
"I left them a way out." Will shrugs. "Light is a very useful thing." He says cheerfully.
"I'll go back. They are my people, I am responsible for them." Penny said. Alison looked at the Doctor for confirmation. "Go." he said. Penny ran off. "Now, run!" the Doctor said.
Will hesitates grabbing Penny's arms. "Take this. It'll help you. Throw it if you need help." He hands her a small glass ball.
"Thank you. In my name as Queen Penntitia of New Earth, I hereby decalre you all as our saviors. Blessings be upon you." Penny said, running off with orb in hand.
