"Oh. Will, I do think we should go now."
"Oh. Will, I do think we should go now."
"Yeah… Yeah… I'm coming." he returns to her side, glancing sadly at the camp.
Alison and Will returned to the TARDIS. "Well, I guess it's goodbye now." Alison said. "I've gotten the exact coordinates, just five minutes after we left your camp." the Doctor said, not looking up from the console.
Will nods and sits down, not saying anything.
"Hmm…. weather readings say heavy rain, hail, lightning, thunder, tornadoes, sea monsters, and snow. Alison, go fetch my umbrella will you? It's probably in the zeppelin hanger." the Doctor said.
He stares at the Doctor. "You're kidding, right?"
"No, I'm not. Especially not kidding about the sea monsters." he said. Alison returned with the umbrella and handed it to the Doctor.
He glances at Alison. "Please tell me this is a joke."
"He doesn't tell jokes, believe me, I know." she said.
He sighs. "When do I ever get a break?"
"Hectic weather? Around your lot? I mean, it's irregular but eventually someone will do something idiotic and cause your sunny skies to go haywire." the Doctor scoffed.
"No… we deal with titans, gods, sea snakes, monsters, romans, and the occasional earth goddess." He says, humming.
"Well, I suppose you'll want to be leaving then. Goodbye." the Doctor said.
"Wait… drop me off where exactly?" He asks, looking towards the doctor.
"We're at your little camp, now go." he said. "Need I explain further?"
"Alright. It was nice meeting you, Alison." He smiles at her. He nods towards the Doctor. "Doctor." He exits the TARDIS.
"Oh, and watch out for meteor showers in an hour." he said, slamming the doors shut. Alison frowned. "You're going to figure out what's going on, aren't you?" she said. "I promised myself I wouldn't do this sort of thing anymore, and yet time and time again it happens." the Doctor told Alison, sighing. "Yes, I'm going to figure it out, I just needed the kid out of the way."
Will walks towards camp, waving at the TARDIS. He chuckles. "We're used to meteor showers." He mutters to himself. On the counter with a small note where Alison could see was the Apollo heirloom necklace. Thanks for the adventure. ~Will S.
The Doctor started punching at controls, his hands a blur of motion. "It seems there's disturbances underground." the Doctor said. "Could be anything, there are species that dwell in the bowels of the Earth other than Shalka. I mean, Silurians, once a few Daleks, that time was really strange, and so on." he said. "Alright, well what are they?" Alison asked. "I don't know. I'd rather like to find out, wouldn't you?" he asked.
Will returns to the camp. Chiron greets him.
"So, something seems to be tunneling up. I might as well ask the centaur if he has anything under the ground, otherwise it seems he might have a few unexpected visitors." the Doctor said.
"Where are our visitors?" He asks. "They left. They swore they wouldn't say anything." Will answers.
The TARDIS materialised in front of Chiron. "I thought you might like to know, something is tunneling up from underneath the ground into your little camp." the Doctor said. "Cheerio, have fun sorting that out, or would you need my help by any chance?"
Chiron blinks. "Wha-" Will blinks. "What do you mean 'tunneling under? We don't have anything underground that I can think of." He looks towards Chiron and he shakes his head.
"Hmm, so you do need my help." the Doctor said.
