Turning around, CC smiles brightly with a plate of waffles, strawberries, and blueberries.
"waffles! Although i dont know if you wanted syrup or peanut butter. Sorry."
She apolagizes, handing Beatriz a plate of nicely stacked waffles.
Beatriz's eyes widen nervously. "Oh, um, I - thanks. Thank you," she smiles nervously and goes to sit down. "I'm, um, I probably won't be able to eat all of this, so I apologize in advance."
"oh! Im so sorry! We could feed it to the ducks on the beach!"
She said cheerfully, taking her own plate, five waffles stacked on top of each other,
smothered in peanut butter like her moms kisses.
"Its good though, right?"
She said followed by a big bite.
Beatriz nodded uncertainly, picking at her food for a minute before taking a small bite. Why did she do this for me? Does she want something? I'm probably going to have to owe her, she thought.
"You like it? if you want syrup or any of that jazz, it's over there"
She says pointing to the things on the counter, then stuffing her face with another huge bite.
She really wanted to get to know her, but then suddenly, Maverick popped into her head.
Reminding her of his extremely cute sleep talking, then…. a girl.
Remembering him flirting or whatever, with Beatriz, she gulped down the waffle.
Smiling at Beatriz, she hoped she could figure whatever that was out. But for now, she had someone to befriend.
Beatriz smiled thinly, looking away. She felt extremely uncomfortable around this girl who, honestly, seemed to be perfect. She had to be fake. "I think - " she cleared her throat, " - I think I'm going to eat in my room, if you don't mind."
"oh…. okay"
She says smiling at her. She felt bad, did she do something wrong? No, she was probably tired.
Was she being to nosy? Yeah probably.
CC sat back in her chair as she left the room, shoving more food in her mouth.
Beatriz walked quickly to her room, forgetting to take her plate with her, and without hesitation climbed out her window. She had no idea why she was doing this, but she needed to escape. CC was being confusing, and she didn't understand it and didn't like it. It was frustrating, and she could feel an anxiety attack building up. She sat on the edge of the dock and dangled her feet in the water, taking deep breaths.
Noticing she left her plate, she picked up the plate walking to her room. Knocking on it,
"hey, Bee! You forgot your plate!"
She says through the door. Not knowing what to do, but she was extremely worried about her.
Coming to the conclusion that she was just tired, it was 6 in the morning after all.

With a sigh, she sets the plate down on the table, hoping she'll realize she left it.

She says to herself as she changes. She never actually got to look at the room. Three paintings hanging up over the bed, they all looked like a connected forest. The dresser was rather small, along with the closet, but she was fine with that. She didn't pack a ton, but it was still a lot.
"I should actually put my clothes in there….. Later"
She says to herself lying on her bed.
