“You always look fabulous,” he breathes out, not thinking. A violent shade of crimson blotches his cheeks, and Maverick averts his eyes. “I mean- well- I guess I said what I meant.”

Before she could even say something back, trying to stand up and losing her balance, she falls on the ground. Her hand covering a crack in the sidewalk. Looking down, she sighs.
"Well i guess im dead"
She says to herself, looking at her hand covering the carrack, trying not to blush by ignoring what maverick had said, that was what made her lose her balance in the first place.

“You’re… dead?” His eyebrows scrunch together, a hint of red still present on his cheeks. A crooked grin spreads on his face as Maverick remarks, “We’ve been in a lot of situations where you’re on the ground.” He reaches out his right hand - the bracelet dangling from his wrist.

Taking his hand, she laughs a little,
"Well don't you know!? You touch the crack you die!"
She looks down at Mavericks feet, which are standing right on the cracks to.
"Well, goodness Mave…. you're dead too!"
She grabs his hand pulling him forwards whilst laughing. She truly was having a good time, she hadn't had such a good time in a while.

"I…" he struggles for words, pulling CC up with ease. Nudging his feet off the cracks, he meets her eyes. "Have I revived?" Confusion mingles in his eyes, along with an edge of amusement.

She leans a tad bit close to his face and smiles,
"OH well, I guess so!"
She turns around, they walk past a little bar, halfway tempted to go in there. She ignores it, walking along, when the group stops.
The teachers explaining how they were going to go back and that now its techincally a free for all, meaning she could swim. Well that's what CC got out of it.

Once everyone was nearing the beach houses CC looks at Maverick, smiling.
"You gonna swim or what?"
She asks through the stupid grin of hers.

"Swim?" Maverick chokes out, coughing slightly. "Hell. No. I am terrified of water. No. Not happening." A small pout emerges on his lips, as he crosses his arms. Winking, he mentions, "I'm okay with watching though." For some reason, the thought of Ryuu seeing CC at the beach didn't sit well with Maverick, but he shook it off.

CCs smile fades, then quickly returns
"Oh okay! Well…. I'm gonna go then."
She was really looking forward to swimming with him, but if he was scared of water…. There was nothing she could really do. She runs to her house, looking back at maverick still on the wooden bridge leading from the houses to the land. Walking into her own little bedroom, waving to Beatriz on the way in, sitting on her bed, for a few minutes. She just needed to get all straight before she went back outside.

"Hey, CC," Beatriz calls, "what are we supposed to be doing?" She asks uncertainly, walking over to CC's door to lean delicately against the doorframe.

CC stands up, opening the door, shocked to see Beatriz so close.
"Oh hi, um well… It's like a free for all, but mostly everyone is either taking a nap or swimming. I'm swimming, what about you?"
She smiles at her, hoping she would at least swim. But if she doesn't, she's going to find out how to get Maverick to swim.

"Oh, um, I guess I might?" She tells CC. "I look terrible in a swimsuit, though, so I'm not sure," she laughs.

CCs eyebrow raises in disbelief.
"What? I heard you were a model though?! And you definitely look like one, since when do you think you wouldn't look good in a bathing suit?"
She asks her clearly confused. Putting her hand on her shoulder, she smiles at Beatriz,
"Honey you'll look amazing"
(Btw she calls everyone honey)

Beatriz laughs, shaking her head. "Just because I'm forced to wear swimsuits in front of cameras doesn't mean I look good in them. It just means my mother is an idiot," she explains, though she goes over to her room to dig through her suitcase.

CC starts to walk into her room,
"oh okay"
She says, not believing she would look bad in one.
Rummage through her suitcase, she finds a few bathing suits, just some extras. Walking out of her room, she had a pastel pink flowy cover-up shirt on. She was a little to excited to go, running out of the house, not even saying anything to Beatriz.
Walking outside, looking for Maverick, the beach already had a ton of people in it, and around it, which made her feel a little insecure, but she could deal with it. Shes had to learn, that just because you're insecure about something doesn't mean its bad.

Beatriz sighs, trying to find a one-piece in her bag. With quite a lot of digging, she eventually finds a pale yellow one piece that could theoretically work. She takes her time putting it on and heading outside. After putting on sunscreen. Beatriz is a firm supporter of sunscreen. Taking her hair out of it's band, she shakes it out gently, hoping it won't get ruined with salt water

CC notices Beatrix stepping out of the doorway, her pale yellow suit looked really cute.
"You look so good!"
She smiles and waves at her. ."well i dont see maverick anywhere, not Ryuu, so do you wanna head to the water or Nah?"
She says smiling at her.

Ryuu, standing in his room in the full body mirror. He was to say the least…. Incredibly insecure. He was plenty fit, he didn't like being shirtless, or in shorts…. He didn't like showing skin at all. But he was going to go out there and have fun. With his stupid looking tropical swimming shorts, his glasses set on the tiny dresser, right beside the lamp. His golden orange curly hair all tousled, he was actually happy today.

"Er, sure," she agreed uncertainly. "It's been a while since I stopped taking lessons, though, so I might be a little… what's the word… rusty?" She said as a disclaimer.

Ryuu stepped out of his house, seeing the girls, a little flustered, he walked up to them, smiling with a little wave.
"Hey!"
He says to Beatriz and CC. CC smiled at him with a little wave of her own, her hair blowing a tiny but in the wind.
"Hey, Ryuu! Um well, I have to go… Find someone real quick, sorry"
She says to Ryuu as she winks at Bee then runs off towards all of the other people.
Ryuu stands there awkwardly,
"Um hey?"

Beatriz smiles. "Hey. Are you going to swim, or just stand there?" She asks playfully, backing into the water. She pulls her hair out of her face with her hands, getting annoyed with how much it's getting in her face.

Ryuu nervously looks around.
"Well, I don't think it would do much good to stand around."
He says to her with an awkward yet somehow cute smile. Stepping in the water, stepping back at his coldness, then fully stepping in. Turning around to Bee
"Is this not cold to you?"

Bee shrugs. "It's not that bad. I once fell into a frozen pond when I was in Canada, and I've not been cold since," she joked. "Well, only in the winter."

"Oh gosh…. Are you okay? I mean… Of course your okay"
He says cringes at himself, going deeper and deeper in the water.
"So how many time have you been to the beach?"

"Er… I can't really say. Too many times to count. Photographers really like water. So does my brother," She said thoughtfully, sticking her hands in the water and then playfully flinging droplets at Ryuu.
