CC let out a sigh of relief once she left.
"Ah, she probably hates me now…."
She mumbled to herself quietly, walking out of the tiny house. Walking on the wooden brindge that connected the houses that were out in the water, to the land. Kneeling down, she looks at her reflection in the water, dipping her hand in the crystalized looking liquid. She could see all of the colors underneath the blanket of water. The fish swimming around, a manta ray, as if flying in the air, oh so peacefully. She looks up to see Maverick stepping out of his beach house, as Ryuu walked in.
"Hey…. is it nice?"
Ryuu stopped and asked him before he walked in.

Maverick smirks, halting. "Only a private school would let us on a vacation like this, but the beds are huge and the interior is good, too." His facade falters, and he looks at Ryuu with a small frown. "Hey… are we good?"
Ryuu's smile darkens a little bit, turning more into a straight face. Taking off his glasses, cleaning them with a white cloth from out of his pocket.
"Why wouldn't we be?"
He smiles, a fake one, but it was a believable one unless you were looking for a fake smile. Turning to the door, humming to himself happily, opening the door, pulling his suitcase up the single step. The glass door slamming behind him as a gush of wind rushes through the air.
Wind blowing hair in CCs face, she dips her feet in the water. A huge white sun hat in her hand, she fits it on her head, covering the top of her white hair, shining silver in the sun.
She had a strapless white flowy dress, going right above her knees, with daisies spotted on it. Matching her hat, which also had a daisy on it. (not like painted on it, but like an actual fake flower on it) She looks back at Maverick and gives a big wave with a smile matching it.
"MAVE OVER HERE!"
She yells across the bridge. That smile gleaming in the sunlight, making her look even paler than she was.
Okay, fine, Ryuu. Maverick pouts to himself, rolling his eyes. He'd been through disappointment, anger. He would not beg like a lost puppy, seeking for one boy's approval. Turning on his heel, Maverick takes long strides in the direction of CC's voice. His breath catches as he takes her in. She's gorgeous, glimmering in the sunlight, lightly tousled hair draping over her back. A smile blooms over his pout, the interaction with Ryuu entirely forgotten.
CC watches him as he walked towards her, sandals right beside her. Smiling at him, pats the empty space beside her, motioning for him to sit beside her.
"hey! Were leaving to go touring in about five minutes! Are you ready?"
She was extremely tempted to jump in the water and pull him in, but she was going to wait to do that once they were done looking around.
Green eyes brightening, he nods. "Of course." He removes his shoes, dipping his feet in the water as well. The action creates little ripples, blurring their reflection, streams of sunlight sparkling over certain areas. Maverick analyzes the picture before his eyes. CC and him, it looks right. Feels right.
(do we wanna time skip to the touring?)
(okie dokie ill do that then)
All of the students and teachers walking down the streets, covered with trees, shops, and restaurants lined up. Parks and some tourist sites. Walking down the street, CC stopping at every single shop, looking at everything there. Her eyes sparkling at every shiny object she picked up. After exchanging money with the owner of the shop, she looked at a bracelet made of tiny brown and black ropes, with a little silver chain intertwined into a braid. She twirled around to Maverick with a big smile on her face.
"Give me your hand.. oh and close your eyes!"
She says, hiding the bracelet behind her back. She hoped he would like it…. he didnt seem like much of a bracelt guy, but this one reminded her of him a little to much.
"Okay…" Maverick acquiesced, feeling slightly foolish as he extended his arm and shut his eyes. The people were fairly dispersed, but the bustling streets were still busy.
CC with a big stupid smile on her face, pulls out the bracelet, unhooking it, and clipping it around his wrist.
Holding his hand, she giggles a little.
"Okay open!"
His warm hand in hers, for some reason she felt the blood rush to her cheeks. Her face turning a little red as he opens his eyes.
Hesitantly, Maverick’s eyes trace down his arm to wrist. A weird expression crosses over his face, and he angles his head in consideration. His eyes snap back to CC, smirking at her blush. “I- thank you,” he says, relishing more in the fact that she considered to buy him something, rather than the bracelet.
"now we both have bracelets!"
She says still smiling at him, letting go of his hand, twirling around and running to the front of the group. Passing all of the shops and buildings, It should be a little bit longer until they went back to the houses. This was the only day it was going to be super organized with an actual schedule, the other days, for the rest of the summer, it was a free for all.
Laughing, Maverick jogs up to CC, the encounter with Ryuu now shining at the top of his mind. “Hey…” he begins, fidgeting with the bracelet. “Is Ryuu still mad at me? After an entire school term?”
She stops sighs, then looks at his eyes.
"No? He's interested in someone else"
She turns back around, acting as he didn't even talk to her in the first place.
what did Ryuu do this time….
“Beatriz, right?” It still didn’t make sense though. Why would he be mad at me if he’s over CC? Maverick ponders on this thought while strolling past shops, clustered together with all sorts of items. I should get her something - she got me a bracelet. He eagerly seeks out any objects tied to nature, or perhaps more specifically, flowers.
"Yeah! I think so…. they've been talking quite a bit, but i could be wrong. And he's a nice guy, he wouldn't be mad at you unless you hurt me… even if his feelings were being crushed in the process. Again… he wouldn't do anything unless you hurt me…. which you didn't."
She smiles at him, she notices him looking at the items in the shop at the group walks. She twirls around, smiling to herself, trying not to step on the cracks of the ground.
Despite himself, he can't help but smile at her words. He tugs his eyes away from the glass to CC, watching as she meticulously studies the ground. "Are the cracks in the road more important than me?" Maverick feigns offense, pretending to drag the girl away from the street, into a cozy shop on the corner.
An elderly woman greets them with a warm smile. The shop is slightly unorganized, shelves propped against seemingly random artifacts, objects of all sorts displayed. Perfect. He lets CC flit around, as his eyes roam the items.
CC turns around to face him, only to be led into a shop.
"Pfft n-"
She stopped talking once she was met with all of the shiny things in the shop.
"woah! What is this?"
She turns her head back to Mave excited
"I have no idea," he admits, chuckling. There. A small necklace, composed of a forest green chain and wooden rose carved into the pendent. Quickly, not giving himself time to think, he pockets the necklace. Maverick strolls up to the women while CC is admiring other items. Wordlessly, he hands her money and flashes the necklace.
CC looking around, she quickly gets a flower, from seemingly thin air, and alot of them, making a flower crown, sneaking up behind maverick, setting it on his head. She then runs over the other side of the shop to admire some of the other things. In the end, she ended up buying a single ring. It was crystal clear, she assumed it was glass, with a tiny, real flower melted into the center. Standing by the outside of the shop, admiring the ring, she sees maverick walk out of the shop, stepping to him
"Whtd you get?"
She says with a bright face, happily bouncing her heels up and down.
He winks, pulling out the necklace with as much confidence as he could muster. All this bravado could be amounted, but inside Maverick was writhing with insecurity. Tenderly, the boy hooks the chain around her head, finally daring to glance at CC for approval.
CC looking down at the necklace, filled with joy, she held the rose up to her face gently with just her two fingers.
Admiring how beautiful it was, she couldnt even think about holding back a smile. she was truley happy.
"This is so pretty!"
A mischevious grin creeped upon her face as she dramatically went it to a silly pose, running her fingers throguh her hiar, smiling.
"Now do i look fabulous or what?"
