Steve chuckled weakly, trying to ease his discomfort. Next time. There won't be a next time. He didn't like it He shook his head to himself. Sam held his phone to his chest like it was gold, looking over at Tony and mouthing 'thank you.'
"Hmph," Steve smiled, looking to the group, "Guess it's my turn, then?" His eyes narrowed at Sam, time for his revenge. "TONY. Truth or dare?"
Tony grinned. "Hmm. Dare." he replied easily, looking at Steve and smirking still. He winked at Sam.
"I dare you to delete the photos." He smiled deviously, glancing at Sam and his smile that turned sour. That's right, I saw. "No…" Sam whined, clutching his phone and looking like he was ready to make a break for it.
Tony frowned. "Delete them…from where?" he asked slowly. "I don't have them, they don't belong to me. Sure, I'll delete them from my phone, but I can't delete them from anybody else's."
Steve frowned, Tony took some too? He shook his head, trying to negotiate "Why not? It'll take two seconds. Sam…"
Sam shook his head, "Don't test me. I'll put it on the fridge." Natasha nodded, whatever went on the fridge, stayed.
(wait wait wait I thought Steve dared Tony?? Right?)
(yes!! and i thought there might be a chase but if not thats fine)
(kk. So why the confusion? Tony didn't take the pictures so he can't really delete them since they're not his?? sorry I don't understand what's happening lmao. but yes a chase would be fun)
(i was thinking tony would have to get Sam's phone in a chase but secretly send them to Nat, but idk we could do somethin else)
(ohhhhh okay lmao)
Tony shook his head. "I'm not deleting them from other people's phones." he said stubbornly. "I'll delete the photos I was sent from my phone, but I won't delete them from everyone else's."
Steve chuckled a little deliriously, "Okay, okay– fine." He waved his hand, taking another sip and praying they wouldn't end up on the fridge. Knowing Natasha, that probably wouldn't happen.
Tony smirked. "But we're definitely putting them on the fridge." he said mischievously. He looked around. "Now. My turn again, right?"
Steve sunk deeper into the couch, throwing his drink back and slumping onto the couch cushion next to him. I'm miserable. Now I have to be reminded of this situation every time I make a damn sandwich.
"Yeah, it's your turn." Steve grumbled with a forced smile.
Tony smirked at Steve. "Alright." He looked around the group. "Sam! Truth or Dare?" He asked.
Bucky was quiet, examining the group and trying to make sense of the emotions bubbling inside of him, spurred on by that kiss.
"I'm picking dare." Sam nodded, don't wanna hear any more talk on dating, ugh.
Steve sighed quietly, his mind buzzing from the kiss…or the drink…whichever one it was, it was confusing; trying to shift between the warmness he felt for Bucky and the coldness of the delusion that they would never be together.
Bucky took a sip of his drink, glancing over at Steve for a moment, then at Sam and Tony.
Tony smiled a little, and thought for a moment. "Hm. Dare you to…" he trailed off, still thinking. "Dare you to try and do the worm." he said with a smirk.
"Pff- Try?" Sam grinned, shaking his head and setting his drink down, "I don't need to try, I can do it." He cleared his throat and stretched his arms, earning a chuckle from Nat. She knew he wasn't much of a dancer, but he could break out some moves if he wanted to. Not very well, though. Sam moved to the ground, pushing off and landing in a mediocre rendition of the worm. Steve chuckled applauded Sam, now that was a show.
Tony laughed a little bit. "Ah. Better than I can do, I suppose." He said with a smirk. He ran his hand through his hair, and took a sip of his drink.
Bucky drank a little more, biting his lip slightly. He didn't know what to say. What he could say.
Sam sank back into his chair, "Bruce…" He asked, a little tipsy and speaking like he was on a game show,
"Truth…or dare?"
Bruce blinked. "Oh. Truth." He replied after a moment, looking at Sam calmly. He had only drunk a little more, not wanting to lose control of the Hulk.
"Imma hit you with a classic: You're living on a deserted island…" Sam nodded, gesturing to the group, "Out of all of us, who's your best bet when it comes to survival and working together, and why?"
Bruce thought for a moment. "Steve." he replied after a little bit. "He's the most used to having the least technology, and something tells me that he'd have good survival instincts. Tony, on the other hand, relies on technology far too much, and Thor…" he shook his head.
Steve smiled from his slumped position from the couch, "Me?" He chuckled, expecting Bruce to choose Sam. From what they'd talked about, Sam's service would have made him a better choice. "Interesting choice, but okay."
Bruce smiled a little bit. "Well, that and if you come along, you'll drag your friend, and I get two supersoldiers for the price of one." he smiled and laughed.
Supersoldiers. Steve repeated in his mind; he'd grown to hate the word, it sounded so material, so commercial. "Yeah," Steve chuckled a little tiredly, "I would." He smiled, remembering the days where they went everywhere together.
