Bruce smiled lightly, running a hand through his hair. He looked at Natasha. "Nat, truth or dare?"
Bruce smiled lightly, running a hand through his hair. He looked at Natasha. "Nat, truth or dare?"
"I'm feelin' dare." She nodded, swirling her vodka in its glass and looking back Bruce with a faint smile. Sam shook his head from where he sat, everyone's lookin' at each other with googly eyes.
Bruce smiled back. "Dare? Alright. I dare you to…" he thought for a moment, looking at his cup instead of at Natasha. He pursed his lips a little. "Hm. Dare you to sing something."
Natasha laughed, he didn't say it'd have to be in English. She smiled, faintly remembering a short and bittersweet lullaby from when she was young, "Спи-спи-спи, Не ложись поближе к постели, Иначе серый волк придет И укусит тебя." She smiled, doing a little bow.
Bruce cocked an eyebrow. "I… didn't understand that. But alright." He said with a soft laugh.
"Sleep, sleep, sleep, Do not go to bed closer, Otherwise the gray wolf will come And bite you." Bucky said softly, translating the Russian to English.
Steve smiled at Bucky's voice, it was probably the most he'd said all evening. "That's a bit harsh." Sam chuckled, glancing at Natasha and Bucky.
"–Yeah, well, some lullabies are just like that." Natasha shrugged, "You know ring-around-the-roses was about scarlet fever?"
Bruce nodded. "Yes, I did indeed know that. Though it's actually about the black plague, not Scarlet fever." He said. He raised an eyebrow at Bucky a little, but didn't comment on the translation.
"Hm," Steve smiled lazily, feeling a little drowsy, I never knew that, "We all fall down…" Sam shook his head and turned to the group, "Steve's got the morbs, y'all."
Bruce chuckled. "So he does."
Tony let out a laugh, shaking his head. "Mm."
Bucky raised an eyebrow, not quite sure what was meant by that. Morbs? He looked around the group, hoping for some sort of explanation.
Natasha smiled at Bucky's flickering gaze, "Это значит, что он грустный," She told him, shaking her head at Steve's distant look,"или пьяный."
Bucky raised an eyebrow at her, blinking as he translated her words, coming up with a response. "Ой. В этом контексте пьяный имеет больше смысла. Правильно?"
Natasha shrugged, “Да, но он также кажется немного мрачным.” She nodded to Steve, who was zoning out and a little adrift.
"Полагаю, так…но почему?" Bucky said, glancing at Steve, then at Natasha again.
“Я не знаю.” Natasha replied, ignoring Sam’s annoyed look, “Может быть, он просто устал.”
Bucky nodded a little bit. "Может быть." He replied, running a hand through his hair.
This is good, Steve smiled lazily, They're talking– and everyone's havin' a good time. This is a good time. Yes.
"Hm," Natasha smiled, looking around the group, "Is it my turn? If it is– Bucky, truth or Dare?"
Bucky blinked. "Ah…" He had to think for a moment, switching back into English. "Dare…?" He replied slowly, hoping he hadn't made a big mistake.
"Hmm. Oh– I know," Natasha smiled, remembering an older game of truth or dare, "Describe what the sky looks like without using the words blue or white."
"–I remember that one, Clint was dumbstruck. Couldn't do it." Sam laughed.
Bucky frowned a little bit, thinking. He wasn't quite sure how to do it. He was definitely not the most…poetic of guys, never had been. "Небо - это цвет океана, когда солнце находится на самом высоком уровне. Цвета Карибского бассейна и Тихого океана."
"Hm," Natasha smiled, looking to the side as she translated, "The sky is the colour of the ocean when the sun is at the highest level. The colours of the Caribbean and the Pacific. I think." Sam nodded, Damn, okay. Okay.
Steve smiled at him, wondering if Bucky would have said the same thing before. It doesn' t matter. He's here now, getting better.
Bucky wrinkled his nose a little bit, and took a sip of the alcohol that Thor had brought. He looked around. "Oh. Is it my turn?"
"Mhhm." Sam nodded, curious to hear what Bucky might ask someone. Steve held his glass gently in his hands, quietly looking at the melting ice cubes.
Bucky nodded a little bit. He didn't quite know who to ask, or what to say. "Uhm…" he ran a hand through his hair. "Sam? Truth or dare?" he said slowly.
"Truth." Sam nodded, glancing through the windows at the sky. He hadn't realized how late it was, "I'm an open book."
Bucky hesitated. "I doubt that." He replied after a moment. He wasn't quite sure what to ask. Then…"Why did you take a picture? Earlier? Before I… woke up?" And choked you?
