He was reluctant to hang up the call but… ”I should finish getting ready and make sure Henry doesn't do anything to embarrass us.” he chuckled.

”I heard that, Ly!” Henry called out from a different room.

" Betty come dance with me " a male said that wasn't her brother

" I've gotta go ly" she said

Lysander raised a brow in concern as he didn't recognize the male's voice. ”Alright… I’ll see you soon, my love.” he said, a little cautiously. Hopefully, the man was just a friend of one of her brothers and was only there for the ceremony.

" Ly you know every werewolf will be here not just my brothers" she said

He nodded. ”I suspected something like that. I mean, I thought that there was a possibility that it would be more than just your family.”

" ok I have to go love you" she said and hung up

”I love you too.” he said as she hung up. He sighed and finished getting dressed.

Tyler had on a black no sleeve dress it stopped at mid thighs and the top was buttoned up and it had a black belt and the collar was flipped down and she had black high-tops

Henry was wearing a dark blue button-up shirt and a pair of black slack. ”You look amazing, babe.” he smiled at her.

Lysander was wearing a black polo and dark washed jeans. ”Have you been to one of these before?”

" Haven't you guys ever been to a vampire ceremony" tyler asked

”Well, yeah but they're not very common.” Henry told her. ”And the ones we have been to are usually pretty formal. Like whatever qualified as ”High Society” for the time.”

”Neither of us have been to a werewolf ceremony so we're a little out of our depth right now.” Lysander agreed.

" well it's a big day for betty…Henry don't embarrass her"

Henry put his hand over his heart, in mock offense. ”Why do you think I’d embarrass her?” he asked, before holding up a finger to silence Lysander’s retort. ”Don’t.”

Lysander rolled his eyes at Henry's antics. ”Why is it such a big night for Betty? What happens at this ceremony?” he asked Tyler in genuine curiosity.

" I don't know honestly but she sounded very excited" she said

Lysander nodded with a soft smile. He was trusting Tyler on this. If Betty was happy, he would be. ”Then we should go and find our table. I don't think we should miss this.”

" it's very long " she said

”Oh, great.” Henry groaned a little. ”Ow!”

Lysander had smacked Henry's shoulder and gave a small glare. ”Behave yourself.”

”No. I want to go.” Henry said honestly. ”I promise I’ll behave.”

”You’d better.” Lysander said.
