Lysander watched the fight, a growing anxiety in his stomach the whole time. He knew wolves were vicious fighters but he stood up in surprise when Betty was pinned. He wanted so badly to help her… but he couldn't. Maybe this was almost like a werewolves version of The Challenge.
Betty whimpered as he bit her throat
”NO!” Lysander cried out as he looked at his wife.
Henry quickly grabbed Lysander’s wrist. He knew if Betty died now, Lysander wouldn't be able to control himself and would try to kill the other wolf… Starting the war all over again. ”Come on, Bets! You can beat this guy!” he cheered, hoping to encourage her.
The wolf pulled away and Betty lay there making sounds between coughing when you had a cold and gasping for air
Lysander blinked back a few tears at the sound she was making. ”Please, no. Not again. She just came back.” he begged softly.
Henry moved his strong grip to Lysander’s shoulder. ”Get up, Bets. You can do this.” he said, wanting her to be alright as well.
Betty kicked her legs knocking the wolf back making him hit his head knocking him unconscious
Henry put his arms up at Betty's victory but he wasn't too happy about it, seeing how bad she was hurt.
Lysander gulped back a breath as he looked at her. He wanted to go and be by her side. He wanted to help her… Get her somewhere safe and heal her somehow.
The vampire rush to Betty and she bit his arm drinking his blood
”Wha-?” Henry stammered in confusion. ”I thought she wasn't a vampire anymore?”
Lysander was still on the verge of a panic attack and didn't understand what he was seeing.
As she drank the blood in her wound started to heal
”Tyler, what’s going on?” Henry asked.
"she's alive Now vampire blood will heal her but she'll become attached to the vampire who's giving her blood" she said
”They know she's married, right?” Henry asked, holding back a small growl. ”They could have told Ly what to do. Or do they just not care?”
Lysander was relieved to see Betty was doing better but he couldn't hide the hurt as he realized what this would mean.
Betty pulled away as soon as her neck was healed and push the guy away
Lysander felt a small flicker of hope as she pushed the other vampire away. ”I… I didn't know our blood could actually heal anyone besides other vampires.” he admitted softly, and a little slowly.
She looked over at Lysander and beckoned him over with her finger
Lysander raised a brow at the gesture but walked over to her.
She smiled and held her arms out to him
He gave a small smile as he shyly reached out to hug her.
She hugged him and the other wolf's howled
He sighed in relief and held her close.
He smiled softly back and kissed her. ”You had me worried.” he admitted.
She smiled " wanna get rid of me that easy" she said
”No.” he shook his head. ”I don't want to get rid of you at all.”
