"Hm.." Conner crossed his arms and a smirk tugged at the corner of his lip. "Cutie?" A small laugh escaped his lips. "Well beautiful, I'm not sure what we are going to do today." Using his hand he brushed through his hair.
"Hm.." Conner crossed his arms and a smirk tugged at the corner of his lip. "Cutie?" A small laugh escaped his lips. "Well beautiful, I'm not sure what we are going to do today." Using his hand he brushed through his hair.
"I ment Connor!" Eve puffed out her cheeks the red still not leaving her face. "And- its-" she was flustered. "Whatever!" She shouted. She crossed her arms over her chest but didn't leave.
"How cute." He mumbled to himself with a smile on his face. "I know, I was just joking." He walked passed her and poked her cheek. "Do you have any ideas for what we should do today?"
"Bugs?" Eve asked a small smile tugging at her lips, "how do you feel about bugs?" There was a bug museum not far from the castle and the live bug part was truly a sight. The bugs in hell where much worse then those of earth.
"I don't mind them." He shrugged. Eve looked really good today to Conner but lately she always looked good. "Have you been doing something different lately?" It didn't hurt to ask. He studied her, looking at her clothes and hair trying to figure it out.
"Different?" Eve asked confused. All that was different was that she'd been dressing in normal clothing lately. But its not like Connor really saw her, or was here yet at that time. "What do you mean?" She asked still very confused.
"Never mind it doesn't matter." He continued down the hallway. The past few weeks he has been trying to figure out a way for them to be together, that is of course when Eve actually falls for him. All Conner knew is that he didn't want to be separated. "Alright, let's go."
Eve skipped down the hall then out the doors, the museum was a dark green with little to no windows, "I hope you have a strong stomach." A grin tugged at her lips. Inside it was lit by black lights giving everything an eerie glow. A giant beetle buzzed by Connors face and Eve smiled a little.
Conner jumped back and looked to Eve knowing that she was going to laugh. "That was not a bug, that was a dinosaur." That thing was the size of his face. The green tint to the room didn't help the eerie feeling that he was already feeling.
"Pfft, no it was a bug. And one of the smaller ones at that." Eve pointed to something the size of a small cat, "and that's still pretty small." It had a long tail with six big wings on its back along with four legs. Giant horns jutting out from its head and a sickening slurping noise came from it as it ate something. "Just try not to let anything sting you. It may be deadly for humans." She laughed again and did something bold, even for her. She took Connors hand in hers and led him around explaining bugs and how they got so big.
Conner blushed at Eve taking his hand, he was happy it was so dark or she would see. For a moment he forgot about the bug, that was until he heard the slurping noise again. "I thought these were going to be small bugs." He was not happy about being here. "And why aren't they in cages or something?"
"What, scared or something?" Eve gave a smug grin before being smacked in the face by a rather large bug. The look of shock plastered on her face as if she wanted to scream but wouldn't allow herself too, "i- I wasn't expecting that." She let out a sharp breath.
Conner cover his mouth to stop from laughing, but it slipped out and he laughed. "To answer you're question, yes I am a bit scared, I won't lie." He squeezed Eve's hand, not from being scared, but because he wanted to see her reaction. For a long time now he's been wanting to tell her how he feels, but of Satan heard he would send him back.
(Ack sorry Wednesdays are always super busy for me.)
Eve pulled her hand from Connors remembering that it was there. "We should go." She mumbled looking down and feeling her face turn red.
"Do you know that way out? Because I can't see a thing." He laughed and tried to find a wall he could follow. This place would be the perfect time to kiss her, because she wouldn't be able to punch me. Conner shook his head. No, that's low even for me.
"So demons have better eye site then?" Eve laughed missing the wormth of her hand in his. He won. she thought shaking her head slightly, he'll be leaving soon. "this way." She called instead of grabbing his hand again.
I'm glad I didn't kiss her then. He used the wall to follow her. "Yep I'm coming." It was a slow go but eventually he caught up to her. "Just don't leave me behind."
"Awe, don't want to be left alone, with bugs?" Eve turned around to give him a smug grin but then remembered he probably couldn't see it, nor could he see her. A thought crossed her mind before she could shove it deep back into the darkest parts of her mind.
"No, I don't I'm not going to lie." When does this place end. The building was big on the outside, so they still probably had a ways to go. Conner was snapped out of his thoughts when he ran into something. "Um, ow." He felt it to feel what it was but just thought it was another wall.
(Going to assume its a bug?)
Eve looked to Connor wondering what that slight thump noise behind her was, "Connor?" Her voice a bit concerned. "You okay?" She asked turnning to look at what the hold up was.
"Yeah I just ran into another wall, that's what he thought at least until it moved. "Mother of, what the hell!" He fell backwards onto his back. "Eve, your still here right?"
Eve staired in horror, she didn't know they let bugs that big rome around…unless they went into the wrong area. "Connor…don't move." Though she was used to the bugs of hell this on freaked even her out.
"Why? Is this thing going to eat me or something?" A hissing sound came from the bug as it turned around to face Conner. I'm going to die, this is how I'm going to die. Conner held his breath and squeezed his eyes shut waiting for his end.
"When I say so…run the way we just came. As fast as you can." It would probably chase him if there was no distraction so now was as good as any for Eve to use her powers. Mumbling a chant she summoned three pawns and threw something at the giant bug. It turned to face Eve and the three pawns and when it did she shouted, "now!"
Conner stumbled to stand but eventually got up and started running for it. He had no idea where he was going, he held his hand out in front of him in case he ran into something. I'm going to die, I'm going to die! He kept repeating that in his head. As he made his way to the exit.
