"Oh, that makes sense. Sorry." Conner looked over the menu for Eve and began to read it. "There's hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs and a chicken basket." He would probably just get her water, unless she wanted to try soda. "Then they have sprite, root beer, pepsi, water and lemonade. Those are all drinks." He looked back down at her. "Anything sound good?"
Eve marveled at the names. Though they wouldn't sound amazing to a human, but to someone who'd never heard them before. "I'll have whatever." She said with a small shrug not really knowing what to order.
Conner walked up to the man working the counter. "We'll have one chicken basket a hamburger, one water and a lemonade." Conner gave him the money and then went to sit at a table. "They'll call my name when it's ready.
"Alright." Eve glanced around for the first time noticing all the people that milled around. "This place is, busy." She mumbled to no one in particular.
"Most amusement parks are." Conner tapped his fingers against the table they were at. He was thankful for the shade from the tree, because without it, it would get hot. "I know its cooler on earth, so if you get cold just tell me."
"Oh no are you kidding me? It feels great here!" Eve smiled returning her gaze to Connor. A light blush crossing her cheeks. It didn't matter how much time she spent with him, she'd always be hopelessly in love with him. Always love him. "I love you." She said, her smile not leaving her lips.
"Hm, really now? I hadn't noticed." Conner smirked and poked her cheek like he used too. "I love you too." His smirk turned into a gentle smile. He thought it was crazy how much she had him wrapped around her finger. He wouldn't go back to hell just for anybody.
Eve puffed out her cheeks slightly and laughed, "gosh you're annoying." She joked giving him her wicked grin.
(Sorry its so short.)
"And you're adorable." He leaned over the table and gave her a kiss. "We have an order for Conner." He smiled at Eve before getting up to get their food. God, she's so cute.
Eve was partly startled by the kiss and knew once again her cheeks where a warm shade of pink. food. She thought happily after hearing their order was ready.
"Here you go." Conner laid the chicken basket in front of Eve, along with her lemonade. "If you don't like it, then you can try my hamburger." He was willing to get her something else if she didn't like her food.
Eve scarfed down her food along with the lemonade. Making her eyes light up at the sweetness, "human food great." She said laughing slightly.
"I'm glad you like it." Conner took a bite of his hamburger and drank some water. "Are you going to be to full to try ice cream for the first time?" He hoped she would like ice cream as well, but it might be a bit cold for her.
"I'm Litarlly always hungry." Eve joked giving Connor a big grin. And it was partly true. Espesily here on earth. Her metabolism was fast considering she was from a place that'd already been a few days, or even a year by now.
"Okay good, because there is a lot of food for you to try." Conner took his and Eve's empty plates and threw them away. "There's an ice cream shop around here, you can pick your own ice cream to try." He took her hand and started to lead her down the road a bit more.
"Alright." Eve didn't let her grin slip from her face. She was excited to be trying all these human foods they didn't exist in hell.
They walked into the store and not many people were there. The ice cream was on display so they could see and pick what they wanted. "Pick anything." He had enough for her to have as much as she wanted. "You can have samples as well."
"Again. Still can't read human." Eve mumbled awkwardly. But she looked at the men. intreged by the colors of the ice cream.
"Right, um, theres a lot to read." He read through all the ice creams for her while the guy looked at both of them weirdly. "I'll have the cotton candy." Conner loved cotton candy ice cream.
"Uuuh, the green one?" Eve asked referring to the mint. She noticed the guy watching them weirdly and she looked down. Heat filling her face, Embaresmint.
He handed Conner his ice cream then Eve's. "That's a good one." He paid then went and sat at a booth. Taking a bite of his ice cream he watch Eve to see her reaction.
