Jared smiled, and nodded. He shifted again, working to be able to stand on his own. He slowly let go of Victor, wobbling as he tried to keep his balance. With a startled yelp, he fell forward, grabbing onto Victor again so he wouldn't fall as his feet scraped on the ice. "Sorry!" He exclaimed, laughing. "I don't think Ice skating is my strong suit."
Victor helped him until he was ready. When he was standing on his own Victor smiled warmly, cheering for him before he fell. He laughed gently and carefully caught him. "It's okay! Really. Just takes some practice." He laughs softly and supports him, helping him gain traction and balance again.
Jared looked up at him with a smile. "Thanks, but uhm…I don't think I'm going to master this in one day." He replied with another soft laugh. He cautiously steadied himself, lightening his grip on Victor slowly, trying to get used to the feeling of the ice beneath his feet.
Victor laughed softly. "It took me ages to get it. A month at least where I could confidently skate and not fall on my ass." He chuckled, continuing to guide the other. "It takes time and practice."
Jared nodded a little, and bit his lower lip, carefully trying to balance without falling. "You know, a movie might have been less dangerous." he said with a laugh.
Victor laughed at that. "I suppose you're right. But if this isn't fun for you we can leave." He tilts his head. "Why not do both?" He asks, a small smile one his lips.
"I never said it wasn't fun." Jared replied with a smile. "And what do you mean? Do you mean go see a movie when we're done here?" He raised an eyebrow.
Victor shook his head, a smile on his lips. "Yeah. If you want to go see a movie after, we can. Or we can go home. Whatever you want to do." He chuckles.
Jared chuckled. He slowly let go of Victor again, though he kept his hands up in case he fell.
Victor skates around him. "You're doing great, now. Straighten your posture a little. I'll catch you if you fall, don't worry." He smiles a bit, keeping a steady eye on Jared.
Jared cautiously did as Victor instructed, biting his lip a little. His arms were still out a little for balance, and his eyes tracked Victor's movements.
"There you go!" Victor beamed at the other. "You're doing great!" He laughed. "Try and move forward!"
Jared smiled, and cautiously moved forward a little. He wobbled a little, and threw his arms out more, eyes widening slightly.
Victor skated in front of him, ready to catch him. "You've got it, keep going." He chuckles softly, a warm smile on his lips.
(gtg to bed now. Good night)
Jared wobbled again as he slowly skated forward, eyes fixed on his feet and trying not to fall. He bit his lip a little.
(Night!)
"That's it. Nice and easy." He smiled at the other, easing him forward.
Jared wobbled again, and adjusted, not wanting to fall. He wanted to be able to do this. He really did. If only to prove that he could.
Victor smiled. "That's it. Here, move your legs like mine." He skates around to show the other what he meant.
Jared nodded, and mimicked Victor as best he could, though he was still wobbly and unsure as he did his best to do it.
"You've got it. Keep going!" He cheered. "Keep you back straight and focus on me." Victor seemed pleased, happy even.
Jared straightened his back, keeping his green eyes focused on Victor. A pleased smile flashed over his face.
"There you go! Now. Skate towards me." He holds out his hands just in case the other needed to grab his hands for balance.
Jared slowly skated towards Victor, wobbling a little. He swallowed, but was still smiling happily.
Victor nods, apparently really excited. He smiled warmly at the other, "You're doing so well." He laughs quietly, skating back a little.
Jared smiled a little, and kept carefully following him. "Thanks. But don't jinx me, I don't want to fall." he replied with a smile.
