Jared blinked, and turned red. "Oh. I uhm…thanks." he said slowly, but didn't refuse the shirt.
Jared blinked, and turned red. "Oh. I uhm…thanks." he said slowly, but didn't refuse the shirt.
Victor nods and smiles warmly. "It's no problem. Can't have you freezing on me, now can we?" He luckily had a shortsleeve on under.
Jared chuckled a little. "Mm. My mom might not be happy about that." He replied with a small smile.
"Yes, and I wouldn't want to get on her bad side." he laughs quietly, ruffling Jared's hair gently.
He went still for a moment at the touch, then smiled slowly. "Yeah, she's…she's a bit of a terror." He chuckled softly.
He smiled at that. "I don't doubt it." Victor looks around and smiles a little bit. "She seems nice though."
"Oh she is. Nice, I mean. But…just don't cross her." Jared replied with a soft laugh.
"She seemed very pleasant when she picked me up." He ran a hand through his hair and gave a happy sigh.
"She is!" Jared said quickly. "She is, she's just also very, er…protective." he chuckled a little.
(Sorry for being gone for so long. I was in a really bad mental state.)
Victor nods. "Mothers usually are." He chuckled quietly before looking at the ice. He had lost his mother a few years ago. It had been the hardest reality for him to accept.
(Dude, it's totally fine, I understand)
Jared noticed Victor's look, and realized that maybe he should be more careful about what he was saying. "Oh. Uhm…I'm sorry." he said, biting his lower lip a little.
Victor starts before smiling a little bit. "Whatever for?" He asks gently. "There's no need to apologize." He smiles warmly towards Jared and hums quietly to himself. "I was just thinking."
"You looked…" Jared shrugged a little. "I don't know." he gave a faint chuckle, running a hand through his hair, and glancing away, then back at Victor.
Victor raised a brow, a small smile on his lips. "Alright then." He chuckles quietly before looking at the other then looking down. "But it's nothing important." He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck.
Jared nodded. "Alright." he replied, running a hand through his hair. "So, what were we going to do when we're done here?"
"Well, we're going to the movies, I believe. That's what we were planning right?" Victor taps his lips. He glances at Jared. "About ready to end skating?" He laughs gently.
"Alright." Jared replied with a smile. "I'm ready whenever you are." he shrugged. "I don't really have a preference."
Victor nods before helping him to solid ground. He sat down on a bench and removed his skates and smiling at Jared. "Any movies in mind?" He asks cheerfully.
Jared sat down and took his own skates off. "Uhm…" He shrugged a little, and checked the movies out on his phone. "I don't know." He replied with another shrug.
He chuckles. "Well… there are comedies or there are romances, or there are whatever you want to watch." He smiles warmly as he puts his shoes on.
"A comedy or a romance sounds good." Jared replied. He searched around for his shoes, found them, and put them on. He gave a small smile as he straightened up.
He nods and smiles a little bit. "That sounds like a plan." He chuckles before smiling at the other and offering his hand to help the other up.
Jared took the outstretched hand, and got up. He let go after a moment, looking around before he located the entrance again.
He walks towards the entrance, humming to himself as he does so. He looked relaxed, happy. He glances at Jared, offering a kind smile.
Jared smiled back, following Victor. Once they were outside, he pulled off Victor's coat, holding it out to the taller male. "Here. That's the second time in what, two days? That I've borrowed your coat."
