Aspen had her bat in her hands, ready to swing in the direction of danger. She felt Beans hands on her shoulders, and stayed close to lilac, circling around her and Mori.

Lilac continued to hold onto Mori as Bean grabbed onto her own weapon. She would not hesitate to beat anything that tried to hurt her sister and the kid. Lilac’s knife was in Bean’s other hand because the last time Lilac used her knife, she got stabbed. Luka grabbed onto his own bat, joining his family.

Mori whimpered softly, curling in on himself as he clung to Lilac. Kas grumbled a bit to himself and tightened his grip on his bow, ready to shoot anything at a moment's notice.

Lilac held Mori close to her as she looked to her older sister. Bean nodded and prepared herself for battle. Luka did the same as he whispered in Lilac’s ear. “When we say go, you and Mori make a run for it and get somewhere safe. The rest of us will meet up with you,” he whispered, making sure Mori couldn’t hear. Lilac nodded, holding onto the kid tighter.

Aspen leaned over to Luka "don't you think someone should go with her? to protect them, incase Lilac cant get to her weapon in time?" she asked, staying in front of Bean, but turning to look back at her, a worried look in her eyes, then turned back forward.

Bean and Luka both looked at each other. “Yeah…I’ll go with them. I’m the strongest between me and my siblings so it has to be me,” Bean nodded, crossing her arms a little. “Plus, I have Lilac’s knife and she’ll need that,” she added, still hesitant about letting her sister use the weapon again. Last time she got hurt.

Aspen nodded understandingly, looking between the both of them, before facing forward again "be safe." She said, her lips drawn into a thing, pristine line.

Bean nodded, kissing Aspen on the lips before pulling away. “I will. You guys stay safe too…” she looked to the others. Luka nodded and hugged Bean tightly. “Bro, I’m going to be okay,” Bean smiled as Luka sighed. “I know…I know. Just making sure,” Luka laughed.

Aspen gave Bean a small wave as she walked off, before gripping both her hands back to the handles of her bat, her eyes darting around wildly, searching for danger.

Earl shared a glance with Rachel, nodding at each other slightly.
"Rachel and I will go next. We'll come out orderly and quietly. We don't want to attract unwanted attention." He said.
"Anyone object?"

None of the siblings objected. The sooner everyone could leave, the better. Bean put her hand on Lilac’s shoulder as the younger girl was still carrying Mori. “And then Aspen and Luka,” Bean nodded, trying to reassure her nervous sister. Luka, meanwhile, gripped his bat and joined Aspen.

"When do I go?" Kas asked. "I want to help. I can help. Let me help." He insisted, stepping forward a bit. "I can walk fine. Just hurts a bit, but… a little pain never stopped me before, and it isn't going to now."

Aspen frowned a bit "I think Kas should go next, considering he's injured, I prefer I get hurt over him." She turned to Luka "no offense" she said "all I want is for everyone to be safe, and honestly I cant do that, unless I go last, Luka can stay with me…or go ahead without if he wants, I'm gonna make sure everyone is safe by going last." She stated, gripping her bat; so hard her knuckles turned even paler than the rest of her skin.

“You can go with Luka. Just be careful. I don’t want anyone to get anymore hurt then they already are…” Bean sighed, looking at Kas as Lilac left the room with Mori. “I have to go now. Protect each other….okay?” Bean told them before following Lilac and Mori. Luka nodded and gave a thumbs up. “Oh! And Aspen…stay safe,” Bean called out to the other girl before going back with the others.

"Kas can come with us." Rachel looked out the window.
Coast was still clear.
"We need to hurry. Things won't stay quiet for much longer." She added with a tad of malice.
If anyone got bit because they were too slow…she couldn't think about it, or even stomach the thought. They had stayed too long, and it was too late to go back now.
Survival was the only goal currently.

Earl nodded and cracked open the door.
Speed was the most important thing in this situation. Hesitate for even a moment, everyone will die.
"On three."

Aspen waited until Bean,Lilac and mori were a little ahead "okay Kas go." She stated, her heels pushing into the soil beneath her feet. Her teeth gritting in nervousness.

Luka wanted to go with Kas and the other two as well. He decided against it. Luka gripped his bat tightly. One wrong move…and everyone dies… he warned himself as his sisters got ready to run. Bean was probably giving a plan for her, Mori, and Lilac to follow. We should have a plan too… he thought before taking a deep breath. “We need a plan for when we get out of here,” he stated, trying to remain calm.

Kas nodded and headed out, watching around himself warily as he kept a tight grip on his bow. The arrow was docked already and he had his hand on the string so he could fire at any given moment. He was limping a bit, but still moved along at a decent pace.

Lilac held Mori close as she listened to Bean talk. The older Rose was pretty confident when it came to stuff like this. Actually, she was pretty confident in general. Lilac was kind of jealous, as she was much more shy. “Okay, maybe we should head back…I’m not so sure about leaving the others…” Lilac muttered and Bean froze. The older girl sighed and nodded. Soon the trio were on their way back to the group.
