(so, im assuming we're going with the idea Bec suggested? I think it sounds pretty good tbh~)
(I think everyone so far has given it a thumbs up, and it's pretty similar to Tactic's idea. So yeah, probably.)
(so uhm I dont think im gonna be very good at making this play out, so who's gonna start the zombie break in thingy?)
(Fair enough lol-)
(Huffle, go for it! I'm honestly curious for what you come up with. Here, I'll grab Earl's ref for you real quick)
(And I think I could probably start it)
(I would always be glad to start if no one else wants to! I think it should happen during the daytime because that'd be terrifying.)

(Okay)
(Okay)
Tohru had spent a little of the day napping, making up for more lost sleep the night before. Once awake, he walked up to the window and peered outside.
Lis came back in from where she had been on the porch before, scoping out the situation. She slammed the door behind her.
"Things sound not good out there," she said, "The horrible noises out in the woods have been getting louder over the last day. I'm pretty sure they know there's a big group hiding here."
Earl popped up. "Pack your shit up. We're leaving. When they get agitated, they get ballsy." He said, throwing backpacks at people.
"Lis, you're in charge of packing the medical supplies. Bean, grab the kids. Tohru, you and anyone else grab ammo, drinks, and food. Rachel, you grab my guns and you get your flamethrower." He said.
Rachel nodded. "Got it. Crowd control."
She took the stairs three at a time, bursting into her room. "Riot shield, spear…where's my flamethrower?"
Kas was up at that point and looked up, grabbing his bow and arrow just in case. He didn't want to sit idly by when he could be helping. Mori was still asleep in Lilac's arms, although he began to stir at all the commotion.
"Keep your voice down, Earl. We don't want Mori to panic. Just act like nothing is wrong." Levi said, walking past into the kitchen to grab the supplies he and Rachel left the day before. "You left it on the porch!" He called to Rachel.
Earl nodded, going to talking normally.
"Yeah, we should probably go. Because urm…there are…birds in the woods? I don't know."
He shrugged and handed it to Rachel as she walked down the stairs calmly.
"But still start packing."
Rachel hooked the flamethrower onto her back pack and looked out the window.
"No one has a car by any chance?"
"We should probably go-" Levi corrected, "Because we've been here for three days and we want to get to our destination. Right?" He handed Rachel's first aid supplies to her and went to join Tohru at the window. "What's out there?"
Tohru shook his head.
"I don't see anything yet. But I was hearing strange noises as well at some point. I-I'm sure as long as we go now, it'll be fine. We just need to make sure to skirt around the woods."
He started making sure any weapons and ammo were picked up and either in someone's hands or supplies.
Lis checked the contents of her bag to make sure she still had medical supplies. Running a bit low, but they'd do for now. They could restock later. She made sure to grab anything else laying around- stray bandages, disinfectant, and anything else they may end up needing. She distributed some of the supplies, and shoved the rest in her own bag.
"What's going on?" Kas asked, coming over to the group and looking up between the adults. He felt very small amongst them, but tried to ignore it as he docked an arrow into his bow. "Do I need to shoot something?" Mori stirred a bit more and opened his eyes, looking around at the others sleepily.
"Uh, no. We've um, just been here for a while and need to leave." Earl motioned to Mori and outside, where a few zombies came to view.
"So no reason to PANIC."
Rachel stared daggers at Kas.
"Don't freak Mori out dude…" She whispered.
"Fine, fine, I won't." Kas huffed a bit, shifting his weight a bit so his leg wouldn't hurt so much. "Maybe we should check outside for a minute to see the… uh… weather." He said stiffly, heading to the door. Mori watched them, bewildered and still out of it. "Are we leaving…?"
"Yeah, we're just packing up our things now, making sure it's safe out, and we'll go in a bit," Tohru said calmly, "Everything's good."
There he went again, lying to this poor kid. Hopefully, everything would be fine. It was still daylight after all.
"I can go scout ahead with someone, make sure it's safe," Levi said, fixing a strap on his bag. "Anyone wanna join?" He swung his bag onto his shoulders and grabbed his staff. "We'll be right back after checking the path."
Rachel raised her hand. "I got this. I won't burn the forest down, I promise."
She unhooked the flamethrower, grunting at it's weight.
"But I can't promise I won't burn something."
Tohru leaped at the offer.
"I'll come with you too. Going alone doesn't seem like a good idea. Even just two people scares me."
Lis looked over her shoulder.
"Are you two sure? We're almost ready anyway, aren't we?"
Tohru shrugged. "We won't go far. Just making sure we have a good route out of here."
"I wanna come with." Kas insisted, stepping forward and tightening his grip on his bow. "I can help. I… have a good eye." He said awkwardly. "I'm all young and spry and stuff."
"But, you're injured Kas." Levi said, "You sure you will be able to keep up?" He was glad for the backup from Rachel and Tohru, but he didn't want Kas to get more injured or left behind if they had to get out of somewhere in a hurry.
"I'm not that injured. My knee was just dislocated. But it's… located, now. So it should be fine." Kas huffed a bit. "Besides, it isn't gonna get better if I don't move it at all, right? It'll get all stiff and painful or something."
