Calla wiped away her tears, letting go of Ronan for just a second, but she fell onto the ground as Ronan ran. She stumbled as she stood up, calling after him and running, but not realizing that she didn't know which direction to run.

Karina began to panic. She had never once needed to shock Calixto, but she had panicked and mentioned using it. She didn't want him to have killed anyone, even if they weren't human. She had only wanted him to simply come back, but the sudden slap had scared her. Tears sprang to her eyes, as she stared at Calixto.
"Cal, oh god, Cal. Please, I didn't mean- I… It fell, and-" she began to ramble. Then the Malchai looked up from his position on the ground. The hatred in his eyes said more than words ever could. They were filled with rage, but also hopelessness. He stood up, and started to walk home, despite the pain. Karina called out to him, and he stopped. He didn't make any move to return to her however. He instead sat outside the house, waiting for her to be done with the family inside.
Still tearful, she turned toward the family inside the home.

“No clue. Lets check it out,” Faye said, opening the window. Her dad would kill her if he found her sneaking out, so she’d have to be quiet about it. She stepped out onto a tree branch, pleased when it held, and she jumped out.

Ronan gasped sharply when Calla fell. He cursed sharply and stopped in his tracks, setting his violin down as he ran to grab Calla. He grabbed her, bit felt a tugging inside him. He looked over at his violin, a shadowy, clawed hand tugging it towards the shadows. “Fuck, no!” He shouted, bolting towards it.

Breathing heavily, Calla clasped onto his back. "What's wrong?" she asked, looking around even though she knew she couldn't see anything.

Dax followed Faye, coming out of the corner where he had been.

@ShadeStar

Lila followed Faye out the window. She pulled out her knife and was ready to fight whatever was out there.

Calixto stared at the concrete beneath him. Karina really was just as he thought. The metal was still too warm for him to tug at again with his hands. He leaned against the fence as he sat in defeat.

When the others were out, Faye jogged towards the commotion, watching the shadows closely for any Corsai. They were better to look at from afar.
~~
“One second,” Ronan said quickly setting Calla down as he dived forward, skidding across the concrete as he grabbed onto the wooden violin. The Corsai hissed loudly, another clawed hand slashing at his arm. It ripped the fabric of his jacket, but didn’t slice into his skin. He scrambled backwards, clutching the instrument to his chest.

Dax followed, hoping Faye's father wouldn't find out. If he did, he'd blame it on Dax and do who knows what.

@Lenered

"Who are you?" Calla reached out to touch the person's face as she hugged her flute close to her chest.

Faye slowed when she saw people in the street. Her body tensed up as she looked at the instruments. She hesitantly pulled out her phone and snapped a photo, the three coming up with dark smudges over their eyes. “Sunai,” she murmured, eyes growing wide with fear.
~~
A flash of light caught Ronan’s attention. His head snapped up, looking at the three new arrivals. One of them had taken a photo. He jumped to his feet, approaching them. “Delete that, now,” he snapped, fingers gripping the violin.

@ShadeStar

Lila calmly put the knife away. She slowly walked towards the Sunai, "I was worried it was going to be a Corsai attack."

@Lenered

Calla turned towards the sound of a flash, tilting her head. She reached up to touch her eyelids self-consciously. Why are there so many people?

@Desvelarse pets

(Aye its all good and poor cal lmao)

Faye stuttered in response, taking a step backwards out of pure fright. She glanced at Dax and Lila, hoping they knew what to do. This was major to capture three Sunai on camera. She couldn’t give it up so easily.
~~
“Doesn’t matter,” Ronan stated, looking at the woman who stepped forward. “I need that phone, now. I will not hesitate to use force.” His blue eyes narrowed sharply at the three, but he watched the large Malchai carefully.
