(Das oki!)
Zackary nodded, holding his wings aloft. “If you so wish, yes.”
(Das oki!)
Zackary nodded, holding his wings aloft. “If you so wish, yes.”
"Oh I surrently do wish." Afriel bounced to her feet again feeling like an overly excited child. She hated being cooped up. Stuck in one place to long. It drove her slightly crazy.
Zackary pulled the meat off of the spit carefully. “Well, unless you’d like to go now, which you’re perfectly free to do, you’d miss dinner.”
Afriel sighed deeply, "well I can't miss a dinner this good smelling." She smiled sitting back down, "and besides who knows the next time I'll get to experience the wonderful kindness of a demon."
Zackary extended his claws and cut up the meat with rapid succession, into juicy steaks-like slivers. He set them on big leaves that was access from the fire-making and handed her one. Her quiet companion then went on to pick up his own and indulge in his craving.
"Thanks" Afriel bowed her head and said a small quiet prayer out of habit before digging in. "This is really good. Where did you learn to cook?"
Zackary shrugged. “When I was alive I went to cutlery school.” He didn’t like talking about his past life, since he was technically still living it, so he distracted himself with pulling off a slab of meat with his sharp teeth.
"You can remember your past life?" Afriel looked up at him surprised. She knew it wasn't uncomen. But some- like her, couldn't.
(Uncommon)
Zackary shrugged. “Yes, mainly because I’m not entirely human. I haven’t died yet.”
"Oh." She mumbled. Afriel tried to push away any awkwardness she'd let seep into the conversation. "Well, nontheless its still really good. Thank you."
Zackary shrugged and ripped another piece of the juicy meat off of the bone. “Yeah, you’re welcome,” He murmured huskily after he swallowed.
Afriel finished and stood again, stretching her wings slightly as to test them, "this is gonna sound really stupid, but do you think I can fly again yet?"
Zackary glanced up. “If you can move ‘em without pain they should be fine.”
Afriel sighed, "so not yet then." She had to admit her wing still hurt and probably would for the next few days. Yes apparently the cold had helped but that didn't change the fact that a spear had gone straight threw her wing.
(Through)
Zackary hummed and ripped a piece of meat off of the bone. “I don’t care what you do, I’m staying here for now.” A wound that didn’t go unnoticed by him gave a particularly bad throb.
(Sorry my brains been fried lately. Also is wings hurt too? Again, pardon my stupidity I'm praticly brain dead.)
(Oof das ok. Yes, Wings has a stomach wound that he (nor the unreliable speaker) mentioned.)
(Oof alrighty.)
Afriel narrowed her eyes at Wings, "I'd still like an explanation as to why you chose to help me." She had yet to let it go and it haunted her thoughts.
(Idk. if he shows any pain she'll be like child let me help you!)
(Also I usually like to play unreliable speaker (especially with more advanced RPers like you), so don’t presume things xD)
Zackary shrugged. “I’ve told you. I need someone in power to help me stop this war.”
(Oh alrighty!)
Afriel sighed, "right. Or course." For some reason she'd hopped he'd helped her for some other reason. Even if she didn't know what that other reason was.
(Also also I wanted to tell you about a user named ‘haley’ with no @. They popped up onto the Ignore chat and proceeded to scare others… if you want specifics don’t be afraid to PM me. I just wanted to say to be safe and help report them!)
Zackary’s wings swooshed behind him as he cut another piece. “Why do you ask, Afriel?”
(Oh my. Thanks for the heads up.)
"I was just wondering." Afriel shrugged, but she couldn't hide her slight disappointment. why am I disappointed. Heck why do I care? she shook her thoughts from her head.
(I also have a lot more info on the case at this moment, so if you want more info, I’d be happy to help. You’re very welcome! even though i’m not part of andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s staff I’ll still help inform in the best way I can!)
Zackary sunk his teeth into a slab of meat and ripped of a chunk. Apart from the occassional stir of large wings, he was silent, engrossed in his own thoughts.
(Yes feed me your knowledge.)
Afriel slid back to the ground boredom seeping into her, "your king doesn't notice you're missing?" She tilted her head towards him curious.
(I’ll PM you all I know!)
Zackary wrinkled his pointy nose. “He doesn’t give a damn about me!”
