"Well, part of me has. The wimpy, shy part is Evangeline. Evie. Yeah. My name is Jocelyn." Jocelyn smirked.

Riverpaw's ears dropped to her head as she looked at the floor. "Y-yeah, that's fair. G-good match." She shifted into her human form, her tail and ears still out, and smiled at Cicada.

Cicada offered a hand to her as she walked off the mat, "Cicada. I'm a second year here."

Riverpaw shied away for a moment, but grinned and shook Cicada's hand, following her off the mat. "Riverpaw. I-I'm a second year too."

Cicada was a tad shocked at that and she said, "Sorry. You looked like a first year. Not that that's a bad thing."

Riverpaw shook her head, twiddling her fingers. "N-no, it's fine. You'd be surprised h-how often I get that…Th-then again, maybe not."

Cicada laughed a little, "Let's go sit down and watch the others fight."

Riverpaw nodded, following Cicada.

She sat down in a seat to watch Evie's fight.

Riverpaw sat next to her, carefully tucking her tail around her waist. She looked out at the mat and her ears twitched a little. "I-I've heard of that girl. Evie, r-right?" She asked Cicada quietly.

“Yes,” Cicada observed River carefully, “How do you know her?”

She shrugged a bit. "W-well, when you have wolf-like hearing, eaves-dropping kinda just b-become a normal thing. I-I hear people say she's got a…a-an evil alter-ego o-or something. I-I've seen her around the halls, but I've n-never talked to her. T-too scared."

“She’s not evil, she’s really nice. I promise you. Besides it’s her first year, how much damage can one do?”

"…Y-yeah, true. S-sorry…"

“Get to know someone before casting judgement. Other people’s opinions can be wrong.”

Riverpaw drew her shoulders up and looked away, her ears pinning to her head. "I-I know, I'm s-sorry.." She squeaked.

“Are you scared of me too?” Cicada asked slightly fearfully.

Riverpaw's ears perked at that, and she gasped quietly, turning to Cicada with a worried expression. "N-no! U-uh, no…at least, not m-much. Just…th-this is why I don't t-talk to people. I-I never know the r-right thing to say, a-and I thought you were getting u-upset at me…sorry." She messed with her tail nervously.

Cicada let out a sigh of relief, “Oh okay. I’m not mad. Or upset. Or anything really.”

(Let’s stop here for the night.)

(Not much, um… Dueling Class started, Cicada and Riverpaw dueled and Cicada won. Evie and Hyunwoo are dueling rn, and the next duel that's supposed to go up in Cicada and Riverpaw's place is London and Kamryn.)
