"It truly is. But tell me… have your Highness ever tasted any of the junk food that we normal people eat? You can't say that you have truly lived until you have tasted a really cheesy pizza." She chuckled.

He thought for a moment back at the trips he and his mother had taken out of the palace and shook his head, his smile growing, “I don’t think I have, are they that good?”
Jade gasped dramaticly, pretending to be upset. "Are you telling me that you have never actually tasted a pizza? Oh God. I can't believe that I used to have a crush on you." She smirked, obviously joking.
Lilian studied the girls her smile faltering slightly as she remembered her own selection, "I swear if there's another Rosalie in this room…" She leaned her head on Lonns shoulder suddenly losing her appetite as she remembered the actions of the other girl, The King slipped an arm around her shoulders and ate with his other hand, "Hey your hair grew back just fine and the poison wore off within a weak." Lonn said quietly as if he had read her mind. "I know." She responded quietly, but that poison had repercussions that could have cost Talin his life, she wanted to say.
She looked up when she heard Talin's conversation, "Wait wait wait, You haven't had Pizza! I have failed as a parent."
Talin’s face flushed ever so slightly and he laughed, “I’m not sure I have, I’ll have to try one sometime.” Even though it was obvious she was joking, the part about her having a crush on him stuck in his mind and he had to focus back on eating to get it out of his mind.
"You surely have!" Jade joked, smiling warmly at the queen. "I think that I might have to kidnap your son some day and take him out for a real pizza."
Lillian smiled back, "I'm quite sure I have taken him out to get Pizza before, I distinctly remember having to clean up his face afterwords, he would have been 6 I believe." She recalled the memory fondly, "But I don't think he's had any sense then."
"Well, that needs to be changed. But honestly, your Majesty, this food is absolutely delicious." Jade took another bite, enjoying ever second chewing it.
Talin shook his head, “I don’t remember that, I’ll have to try it again.” He made a mental note to send a note to Jade later to ask her to join him for pizza sometime.
The Queen Laughed, "I'm glad you think so, I must agree with you, but I may or may not have been snacking before this and Lemon bars are quite filling."
Melody rolled her eyes. The queen was so childish and dumb, and she was completely lost as to why the king had married her. He could have done better. She delicately stabbed a piece of meat with a fork and brought it to her mouth, watching everyone. There were few that seemed really to be threats, but the ones that were, she could take care of them. Smiling slightly at her long nails, she continued to eat, a plan forming in her mind.
(Sick burn)
(Sorry.)
Sonia watched them talk, eating only a bit. She knew that she would never get chosen, but that was okay. She didn’t expect to. She was contented to just watch and listen. Until he said that he had never had pizza.
“How have you managed to survive all these years?” She asked.
“Food like this,” Talin replied simply, motioning to his almost empty plate with a smile before looking up at the girl who had talked. He didn’t recognize her and silently he started to try to guess her name until he could ask her what it actually was.
Sonia shook her head. “I mean it’s great in all, but everyone needs pizza. It’s like life food. If you don’t have enough, you could die.” She smiled slightly at him.
Jade smiled at Sonia. "Truer words have never been spoken, my friend."
Sonia grinned at her. “How can anyone live without pizza?” She shook her head.
Jade tilted her head. "I honestly don't think that is possible." She turned to Talin. "Hey, are you sure that you are actually still alive? I mean, you didn't die or something from lack-of-pizza-disorder or something? It's a very serious disease, you know." She smirked, but pretended to be very serious about the matter.
“It is,” Sonia agreed, putting a bite of food in her mouth, chewing and swallowing before speaking. “My brother suffered from it. It was horrible. He almost died.” A twinge of sadness came to her at the mention of her family, but she ignored it.
"Oh my god! How did he survive?!" Jade gasped, trying not to burst out laughing. She was totally oblivious at Sonias sadness.
He shrugged, poking himself in the arm and smiling, “I think I’m still alive, but maybe I am suffering from that disease, I’ve never heard of it.” Talin finished off the rest of his food and rested back in his chair again.
"Then we got to get you medicine quickly." She couldn't keep herself from laughing anymore. The whole conversation was so incredibly silly. She bit her lower lip to silence herself and gave him half a smile.
Sonia snickered. “I had to feed him pizza. Oh, how he screamed! I don’t think he’s ever forgiven me.” Her smile faded slightly. Then she noticed the look Jade and the prince were exchanging. Her inner romantic was going, Aww!
Jade let her gaze go from Talin to Sonia, still smiling. "That must have been horrible, for the both of you. Give him my best regards." She took another bite of the food. Jade wasn't used to having friends that were girls, but talking to Sonia like this was pretty nice.
“I totally will. Maybe someday you can meet him, and try to convince him that he needs to eat it more. I’ve tried, but I’m hopeless.” She grinned at Jade.
