"I boss you around anyway," Eve teased. She looked genuinely at Farah. "Are you sure?" she whispered.

Farah covered Eve's hand with hers and smiled. "Positive."

anya sighed " im going to go get something, you too talk a minute. " she said and got up to leave the room

Eve blinked as Anya left, but once she was gone, she shook her head quickly. "Mom, I can't–"

"Yes, you can," Farah assured her. "And I'll still be here. If you need anything, you can come to me. This is mostly just about me teaching classes, which you won't have to do."

anya looked in her bag, grabbing the necklace she'd gotten eve. she smiled at the design.

"Please," Farah whispered. "I can't trust anyone else to do the job I can. I know you can do it."

Eve hesitated and sighed. "Alright…" she relented.

anya came back in, the chain hanging from her hand, " hey eye, come here.." she said softly

Farah pulled her daughter into a hug and kissed her forehead. "You'll do wonderfully," she promised.

Eve smiled. "Thank you," she whispered. She retracted herself from the embrace and headed over to Anya. "Yes, my darling?" she asked sweetly.

anya ave a soft smile as her cheeks flushed. she put the necklace around eves neck and whispered only to her "only till i find a fitting ring."

Eve's eyes widened. "Oh, darling," she gasped, taking the pendent in her fingers to admire it. "It's beautiful."

" your welcome, " she said an gave eve a kiss

Eve smiled into the kiss, but she broke it off quicker than she normally would as she heard Farah rise to her feet. Eve turned and hurried to help steady her mother.

"I'm fine…" Farah hissed through her teeth.

" you need to rest.. " anya said softly. she applied her hands to farahs back, giving off a comforting warmth

Farah sighed at the slight relief, but the pain was still throbbing. "Thank you," she whispered to Anya.

"anytime.." she said softly and helped farah get to where she needed to go..

Farah made her way back to her office. When Eve realized that's where her mother was headed, she stepped in front of her. "Where do you think you're going?" she asked pointedly.

"My office," Farah replied shortly.

"You need to rest," Eve countered. "You need to be in your room."

"yeah" anya said

Farah sighed. "Two against one. I suppose I'm outnumbered."

Eve grinned and kissed Farah's cheek. "When was the last time you were in your room?"

"Ha, ha." Farah rolled her eyes.

"seriously i think sauls in it more then you are." anya joked

"You take that back!"

Eve laughed at her mother. "I think she's right."

" i mean, everytime i come out of the hall hes right there, coming out of your room. " she laughed

Farah shook her head. "It's not my fault that my job is more demanding than his!"

" maybe he wants to cuddle?"

“My love affairs aren’t a concern for either of you,” Farah remarked pointedly.

Eve stifled a laugh. “That means he does.”

Farah’s eyes widened. “Eve!”

" omfg im going to ask him!" anya joked an laughed

"No!" Farah stated firmly. "Don't you dare! I forbid you to–"

"Farah, there you are." Saul headed towards them.

"Dad!" Eve chirped. "We have a question for you!"
