anya nuzzled into eve again, huffing slightly

Eve smiled softly and readjusted as Anya shifted. She waited for Rosalind's response, but it didn't come.

anya slept a little while longer, looking peacefull while she slept.

Eve eventually drifted into a nightmare-less sleep.

anya woke to a nock on the door. she pried from eves arms and answered the door. "?"

Eve woke when Anya moved, but she didn't hear the knock. "Anya? Love, what–"

The door opened and revealed Farah stood outside. Eve's eyes widened, and she rolled off the bed in surprise.

anya laughed "she knew we were sleeping eve.."

Eve popped her head up, her face deeply flushed. "She did?"

Farah arched her eyebrows and nodded. "Please. It's not that hard to tell."

anya sighed " i assume you want in?"

"Yes," Farah acknowledged, stepping into the room.

Eve seemed embarrassed that her mother was in the same room where she had sex with her girlfriend only hours ago.

anya sighed and sat down on her bed, nuzzling back up to eve and yawning

Eve wrapped herself in a blanket and smiled as Anya cuddled against her. Her eyes met her mother's. "I'm assuming you're here for a reason."

Farah nodded. "I wouldn't bother you without one." She sat down on the edge of the bed and winced in pain. Immediately, Eve felt another twinge of guilt in her chest.

anya put her hand in eves and gave a soft smile its not your fault

Eve looked startled, but she remembered Anya could feel what she felt now. She offered a weak smile back before looking at her mother's tired face.

"Because of what happened, I'm not sure…" Farah hesitated, "if I can continue being the headmistress of Alfea in my current condition."

Eve's eyes widened. "What?" she demanded.

"im sorry, but the students need you! we need you!"

Farah held up her hand to silence the girls. "My leave would only be for a week, two at the most, until my wounds heal. I wouldn't be gone long, and I'd stay on the grounds."

" okay so who takes over for that time?"

Farah inhaled slowly. "I'm not sure."

" eve." anya said softly " eve should do it"

Eve’s eyes widened. “What?! No, I-I couldn’t!”

" eve come on, your the best person for the job."

"I'm really not," Eve protested, but when she looked at her mother, Farah's eyes were soft.

"You are."

" you've got this, its just a couple weeks, you even get to boss me around," she said and laughed softly
