Ignis grabbed Kali's hand, and they were both invisible. Ignis stared at her and looked down, the water was gone, "We're in a non physical state. Within the realm of shadows. The water must not affect us in this state. I have read about the realm of shadows, it was Darkness's hiding place. Perhaps we couldn't find anything in the physical world, because everything is in the shadow realm? We need to get these three out. When I let go, we need to grab them and come back to the realm of shadows. We can escape through the halls and through the main door. This water is highly dangerous if we use darkness physically, so we must be swift."
she nodded at his statements. "Right. Evan and the rest lost their abilities because apparently even tried to open the door, so he cant hear anything. He also drank some of the water from earlier don't ask me why i have no idea why." She sighed turning to stare at Evan and the rest.
Ignis felt confused and a little upset, "Uh…right. The temple is heavily trapped in the physical world. We can practically walk though the doors without opening them. I'll have to remember to give Evan a smack upside the head later. For now I have to make sure none of them die."
(dude i feel like ignis is the team parent with kali occasionally parenting as well lol)
(He probably is. He spent a lot of time being caring of others. Almost that stubborn protective father vibe.)

"I had to supress the urge to smack the crap out of him." she sighed, remembering earlier. "Well obviously them doing would not be the preferred option." shut up kali you know you like them.
Noel shuddered. Shadow traveling felt weird.
She and Alister stayed quiet when they heard the strange whisper that they now knew came from Ignis. But Alister couldn’t seem to help but yelp, “Ignis!” when he eventually revealed himself. Then he yelled, “Kali!” when they both disappeared.
“Great.” Was all Noel could say. She was getting grumpy and tired.
Thinking about it though, it didn’t seem like they just vanished out of nowhere. Ignis took her hand…
Ignis let go of Kali as they both appeared in front of the three. Ignis didn't speak, he merely took Evan and led him into the shadow realm. He loosened his grip, "I'm sorry, I had to be swift."
He could vaguely see Ignis's lips move but he just saw sorry. "It's okay, at least not everyone is useless in this scenario." he smiled at ignis sadly.
“Evan!” Alister cried. Noel sputtered out a laugh, but it didn’t last long. Dryly, she said, “If you love him Ali, you would let him go.”
He just smacked her on the shoulder.
“Ow. Okay, okay, I’m sorry. It seems like he’s taken them somewhere. Somewhere that’s hidden.”
“Thanks, Ms. Obvious.”
That really got her laughing. They could die any moment now, but gosh, her brother’s love life was at the forefront of her mind right now.
Kali walked over to Alister and noel bringing them both into shadow realm. She heard evan, and she walked over and slapped him.
"Don't say that." She then was silent. Evan looked shocked, not necessarily upset just shocked.
“Yay, you didn’t leave us,” Alister chuckled dryly. But then he noticed Kali and Evan and his expression turned weary.
“Oooh, weird.” Still wheezing a bit, she stuck her hand through a wall. Bringing it out, she calmed herself. “Sorry, I’ll be serious now. What the heck is happening?”
Ignis forgot about Evan's lack of physical hearing, so he tapped his forehead and a purple glow flowed into his head. As Ignis walked, holding Evan's hand, he could hear Ignis, Might be disorienting, but at least it'll be easier to communicate.
Evan smiled at ignis, "thanks." He then turned to softly smile at Alister.
"Were in the shadow realm, were going to leave the temple and go through everything and probably leave. There's something trying to kill us in here." She stared at Alister, dead faced. Her normal expression.
Alister’s face softened a bit as he tried to return Evan’s smile.
Noel stared wide-eyed at Evan, fascinated by Ignis touching his forehead, before she turned to Kali, her lips pursed. “That sounds great, but what exactly did we accomplish then?”
Come. We may be free from the water's corruption, but there may be worse traps that await. Ignis ran through the halls with Evan, trying not to pull his hand.
Evan grabbed Alister's hand before being pulled by Ignis, he grabbed out of a absence of Alister's hand and flustered a little bit. "What happened with you you guys and the water."
Kali nodded for noel to follow her as she ran along after ignis. She hated the holding hands thing so just grabbed Noel's wrist.
(Wait did Evan ask Alister something?)

“Well okay then,” Noel muttered as she ran alongside Kali.
Alister took a small but sharp intake of breath when Evan grabbed his hand.
Though the siblings did feel rather weakened, they ran effortlessly with the others, their feet seeming to spend more time in the air than on the ground. Noel wondered if the could fly better in the shadow realm since they weren’t actually physical. Or at least, that’s what she assumed.
I should be asking you why the hell you would drink black water! Ignis turned to Evan as they reached the temple door. He scowled at him before shoving him through the door. As soon as he was made completely through, Evan became physical again.
"you know about that-? Oh Kali probably told you didn't she…." He looked down noticing the scowl. "I'm sorr-" and he was shoved through the door now on the outside. He pulled Alister with him by accident.
Ignis walked through the door to the outside and him too became physical. As he became visible though, his right hand and arm were blackened, it pouring darkness like a fog. Ignis didn't recognize it and merely just walked away towards the car.
