Ignis looked at Evan, I almost forgot about your hearing. I will help you in due time. For now I am willing to answer any questions you may have. Ignis turned to the other two, "Do not fear about personal. I will answer any I can."

"wow, im that forgettable, ouch." he joked looking at ignis. "Its okay, The only question i have are really for kali, but i would like to ask them in private if thats alright." he smiled at Kali, who seemed just a tad shocked.
"um sure? i guess thats fine."
"thanks."

Alister stared pointedly at Kali and Evan for a moment before he faced Ignis.
“Well, okay. The first thing that comes to mind is when we were back there, Noel said she heard you were seeing a memory of someone. He had a name that sounded like yours…? Or was it just Fire? I was confused about that.”
“Oh yeahhh,” Noel breathed, her words turning into a yawn.

Ignis smiled, thinking as he spoke to make sure Evan had heard, "Ignatius. That was Fire's mortal name. The elementals were beings of pure energy. Always perceived as gods, hence the temples and stories. Ignatius would walk the to admire the creation he took part in. Apparently, he walked the very halls of Dark's temple. I'm guessing for the rest of his life he couldn't shake the thought of seeing Dark as she died in his arms."

Ignis looked to Kali, "Perhaps it was. I can still see Darkness dying as if I was there."

kali glanced back at ignis, searching his eyes and face but not making it obvious. "He was most likely tortured by that memory for the rest of his days, forced to relive it. He might have thought he was a failur that could have done better to protect her." she was just guessing, but she knew the feeling.

“Oh…” Alister sat there, thinking. “Sounds like a metaphor for something.”
“Oh yes, I remembered a question I had,” Noel perked up a bit. “Did you find anything else while we were stuck? Did we actually accomplish anything here?”
The fact that they went to this temple only to get stuck with weird, poisonous water and a memory was kind of getting to her. Granted, the shadow traveling and being in the Shadow Realm was cool, but they didn’t do anything else with it other than escape.

"This temple was an attraction to all mankind to honor her legacy. Fire created these traps in the physical world to prevent mankind from destroying it. Everything I heard about is true. But it isn't in the physical world, it's in the shadow realm."

Deleted user

"Exactly. Fire couldn't go in it so I doubt there are any traps. That's why the water can't affect us there." Ignis looked at Kali

@Tired-but-passionate

Huh. So the Shadow Realm would actually be used for something. Noel stopped swaying and said, “Woah. Okay, your answer satisfies me.”
The siblings both stared, wide-eyed. Still, their curiosity was not.

Ignis looked at his hands, "To be honest, the strangest thing is how I managed to escape. When the crystal activated, I was shot straight into the shadow realm. "

Ignis got leaned and tilted his head towards Kali, "Aww, you wanted to be first?"

@Tired-but-passionate

The siblings giggled. But then Noel cleared her throat. “Um, excuse me, but what crystal?”
Alister kept giggling. “The crystal yeeted him into the Shadow Realm.”
She smacked him. “C’mon dude, be serious.” But an uncontrollable grin had spread across her face.
“Sorry! I’m tired and my brain is going in too many directions.” He wheezed.
