The man nodded once then turned to the his group and inclined his head before they began to walk back towards the others. It didn't take long, they were swift and silent and soon, they were back with the troops.

(Sorry, got dragged out the house. Also, I won't be active much this week so fair warning, sorry)
"Ah, yeah. If you want to keep that as your perceived image of them then uh, don't want 'em kill." Tanrial grinned.

(No prob, thanks for the heads up!)
"Thanks for the tip…." Bernon glanced at the distant silhouettes of the Night Stalkers and inched a little closer to his own group. "So what's next?"
"Now," Mike said, "We wait. Dane gave Trouble a radio, so she'll call us when she's managed to lure Rtker's men out of the base. At that point Dane's men go in to keep them really busy. Now, what we can do while we're waiting it find the back entrance and position the bulldozer right over it." He started heading off, then stopped. "Oh, and another thing. I….need a favor." He looked like he didn't enjoy saying it. "Is there a way to temporarily reroute telepathic messages directly to me and allow me to talk back? I don't have the gift myself, but I think it would make everything run more smoothly."
Bernon frowned. "Don't you hate telepathy?"
Mike sighed. "Yes, but that can't get in the way of the plan. If there's a way to do it, Tanrial, I'd like it done."

(Today’s one of the few I’m not gonna he active at all, sorry)
Tanrial ran a hand through her hair and sighed, thinking for a few moments, “Well… yes. Hold still.” A small beam of white light twisted round her fingertips for a few moments before she flicked it towards Mike’s forehead. It melted into his skin and left no mark after it was gone, “I uh… think that should work.”

"Somewhere near the back of the group, I think…." Mike turned and led them through the crowd until they saw the familiar yellow bulk of the bulldozer in the dull glow of the lanterns. Ruin looked up when he heard them coming.
"Where do we put it now?" he asked.
Mike beckoned. "You're really close, just another yard or so this way."
Ruin and the other men picked up the ropes again and, under Mike's direction, moved the bulldozer over to the back entrance of the base. It was well camouflaged, marked only by a mottled green tarp covering the concrete trap door.
As they were getting set up, there came a sudden outcry from the distant front entrance, accompanied by gunshots. Mike looked up, then nodded. "That'll be Trouble." He glanced over at Dane, who was tensely awaiting instruction. "Pretty soon she'll radio you to say that she's really got their attention. Then you can head in. We'll wait until we hear from you before we start digging back here."
Dane nodded. "Got it."
Mike turned and climbed into the driver's seat. "I'll handle this thing. Tanrial, Rick, you guys stay on either side of the hole and deal with any guards that are still down there once I break in. Everybody stand by for Trouble's signal."

(sorry I'm late)
They waited for what felt like a long time, but it was probably only a few minutes. Then Dane's radio crackled and Trouble's voice came through. "Okay, we got their attention all right!"
Dane gave Mike a thumbs up and waved for his troops to move in. "This is Dane, we're coming to help you out. Try to get them as far from the entrance as possible."
Mike watched them go, his fingers twitching impatiently on the controls of the bulldozer. "Okay, almost time. James, once we're in, follow right behind and start setting up the explosives. We won't have much time in there."

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Sorry, thought I'd have more time today… guess that's gonna be this weeks theme, bye ^^)
James nodded, running his hands over the bad at his side, "Got it." A few of his men stood behind him, bags of their own which undoubtedly contained the explosives.

Another wait ensued. They could easily hear the sounds of the battle now, although it was impossible to tell what was going on. Shots rang out, metal beat on metal, people yelled and screamed, and the occasional flash of light appeared through the trees. Those not fighting shifted restlessly, muttering to each other in quiet voices.
Finally, Dane's breathless voice came through Mike's radio, almost making him jump. "Mike, this is Dane. Radios are set up, Ryker's men are drawn out, and we took the liberty of blocking the entrance so they can't get back in. What are your orders?"
Mike took a deep breath. "They're all yours now. Clean them out. When the rest of Thranion's men come to help finish it, that's your signal to start heading back to the lake."
"Roger that. Good luck on your end."
"Thanks." Mike put away the radio, started up the bulldozer, and began raising the digging arm as high as it would go. "Everybody stand back a bit." More quietly, he added, "Let's hope this works."

@ElderGod-Carrots

"It better bloody work…" Tanrial muttered, taking a few steps backwards and out of Mike's way. A low rumble erupted, only just audible over the fights of the battle, followed by more gunshots, "Mike! I think we have a problem!"

Mike cursed and hopped out of the cab. "Rick, you take over for a second."
"Yessir." Rick scrambled up and took the controls, revving the machine's engine loudly.
Meanwhile Mike took out his radio and spoke into it sharply. "I need a report from anyone who knows what that loud noise was a second ago. Tanrial, did you see it? Where did it come from?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

"East of the base I think," Tanrial replied, keeping her gaze up at the sky, "I didn't see it but I definitely heard it, that's for sure. It's armed, which is gonna cause more problems for us."

@ElderGod-Carrots

"I've got nothing," Thranion's voice filtered through the radio before the line cut off.
"What if we use the explosives? Not all of them but just some of them?" Tanrial suggested, scanning the surrounding area for James and his men.
