"So the faster the better," Quincy said, "Then we should get down on the ground, that way we can get a move on this faster. I would rather not have an exchange of objects in the air. Along with less of a chance for spirits fading? Would that be an accurate word?"

"Moving on… As in inhabiting new bodies," Aurelius said, "Once a spirit is judged, they go to the next life. I'm not sure whether it's on this plane or another, but that hardly matters at the moment. I'm sure the gods have their hands full with all that just happened. We probably have a week or so before the last of them go."

"That's better, but we could have objects that were some of the first to move on. I still think sooner is better," Quincy pushed slightly.

"I agree entirely. I guess I'll have to um… explain this whole thing to everyone… Not everyone takes kindly to messing with the dead. Sometimes they lump it under necromancy, which is the truly vile art… At least I commune with the gods, and they allow communication with the dead," Aurelius said. "Hey, Nox. We might land soon so I can do this thing…"

"I mean, they don't mind my alchemy. And that can basically make the richest person ever if I wanted it to," Quincy laughed, "I'm sure they'll take it just fine."

"Yeah, what I do isn't problematic. A little scary from the outside, but in order. It's just the rumors were that I was reanimating corpses and such, which is unacceptable. Not only is it unacceptable, but where did they think I was finding corpses? You don't exactly just have those lying around…" Aurelius couldn't help but laugh a little at the thought, however terrible.

"I um… I tried to talk to my parents… That's why I took it up in the first place, and I think people started misinterpreting it as me trying to bring them back or something, which I get, but… I don't know, those are big accusations to throw. So, shall we?" Aurelius asked, letting Nox dip down a little more towards the treetops.

Quincy smiled as Jade dropped with him, “We shall. Also never ask me how many times I’ve been asked to turn something to gold or that I can help pay for something because I can turn things to gold. So I understand those accusations and don’t believe you had sny ill intent.”

Nox started to dip a little lower, and she landed at the edge of a field with tall grass. Aurelius started looking through his bag for something- anything that might allow him communication.

Jade landed nearby and snorted as she curled up. Quincy got off and stretched, forgetting how uncomfortable it was to ride for long distances. She started to go through her bags looking for anything that could be used to commune.

"It's a bit of a stretch, but I could always try the blacksmiths… some say you pour your heart and soul into the forge. If we have nothing better, I can try that," Aurelius said, "My weapons are made by different people, all of whom probably died in the attack."

Pollux awoke and asked what was going on, and why they had stopped. Aurelius gave him a quick explanation and he began going through his bag.
“I’ve got a book from the chief medic… that’s about all. I think you should keep looking.”
