“Please,” he said, “I would be grateful.”
Pollux let out a ragged breath.
Aurelius cautiously drew closer to the scene, but he was quiet, stunned by fear and shock.
Pollux glanced his way.
“Please,” he said, “I would be grateful.”
Pollux let out a ragged breath.
Aurelius cautiously drew closer to the scene, but he was quiet, stunned by fear and shock.
Pollux glanced his way.
"You'll be alright. We'll help you." Farron said gently, adjusting his grip on Pollux a little so he didn't drop him.
Quincy nodded and pulled out a cream like substance. She looked to Farron, "Let him sit down so I can do it faster. It's better I don't miss anything now, than have to deal with it later."
Farron frowned a little but nodded. He led Pollux over to a near by rock and sat him down, rising and standing behind the new guy.
Lucky fixed the Onyx, who was now sleeping, the put him beside frost. Lucky stood up to find the others.
She walked over and examined Pollux. Moving his limbs slowly and gently, applying the cool cream to wherever she saw a burn.
Pollux carefully watched Quincy do her work, as if analyzing every single move. He breathed unevenly and raggedly as he sat up against the rock, but he was fully alert… too alert to be as calm on the inside as he was on the outside.
Quincy looked up at him once she thought she had covered all the burn marks, "What area hurts the most?"
“I’ve got a couple of slash wounds over my abdomen… I put up a fight when they were here. They’re not very serious. It’s the burns that hurt, and the bruises…” Pollux took a shallow breath before continuing, “C-can we get out of here? The smoke is killing me…”
Aurelius stood closer to Quincy.
“Anything I can do to help?”
"Pollux is right, we should get out of here. Somewhere that is safer then here," Farron said, crossing his arms, "You can ride with me if you want…"
“Sure… my dragon fell in battle…” Pollux explained, “Honestly the last thing I remember is him falling from the sky with me on his back. The rest is a little fuzzy.”
Aurelius rubbed his neck. “Oh… I’m really sorry about your dragon. Um… so we’re moving out?”
"Fine by me," Quincy nodded. She looked concernedly at Pollux, "The burns should stop hurting soon, and I can take of the slash wounds easily. I have nothing for your bruises though."
Lucky finally found the others and stopped short “what happened?” She asked briskly walking over.
(Hey bec, did u make you character in the time runner Ep?)
(Not yet. I’m on mobile atm, and I probably won’t be able to get to my laptop until tomorrow, so I may not be able to make the charcter until then, if that’s okay.)
“Well, we found exactly one survivor,” Aurelius explained.
Pollux then started coughing again, but this time he couldn’t stop.
"One survivor is better than no survivor," Quincy pointed out as she looked worryingly at Pollux. She reached back into her bag and pulled out some aromatic leaves and handed them to the coughing boy, "These should help. Just hold them close to your nose."
Pollux examined the leaves as he took them, then held them close to his face. It didn’t fix the fact that he had just inhaled a to of smoke and his lungs were a bit messed up, but it did soothe his throat a little bit.
“Thanks.”
"We need to get moving, guys." Farron said, scanning the surrounding area again.
Quincy nodded and smiled a little, "Your welcome, I can get something that'll work better once we're at a more… Habitable location."
“Yeah. Any idea where we should go?” Aurelius asked, pacing in front of the others.
"We could head north. There's a tribe that might help us…" Farron suggested, shrugging.
"I say we figure out our end destination later," Quincy looked at the others, "For now let's focus on getting out of here. Then we can discuss the future."
“That’s fair. Let just start going north, I guess. Any objections?”
Pollux shrugged. “Anywhere but here…”
"Great. Let's get going then." Farron slipped an arm around Pollux to help him stand.
Pollux almost fell again, but Aurelius slid Pollux’s arm over his shoulders to offer more support as they began to walk.
(I have to go. See y’all later!)
