“Hm,” he glanced off in thought with raised eyebrows, “Good point. I haven’t been friends with anybody for the last five years.” Not that he cared; he just thought of it as a fact.

(i'm gonna wait for someone else to reply, give them a chance)
"26?"
Naide mumbles as Young-Jae's turned around to face her.
"Somewhere around that"
He says with a light smile turning back to the group.
(wait what? i'm kinda confused by what you just wrote)
(It's an inside thing between them, don't worry about it, i just wanted to post something)
(oh i was afraid that i missed something)
grace jumps in. "so, you're 26?" she asks, having had overheard naide's and young-jae's conversation..
Mercy just watched the exchange quietly. She had a small hunch that Grace and Isobel were keeping something to themselves but prying seemed hypocritical at the moment. She raised a brow slightly at Naide and Young-Jae’s comments, curious about the meaning.
”I don't really have many friends either.” She admitted.
"It's hard to explain….but…im actually 20 about to turn 21…so is Naide…but certain peoples souls are tied together around 5 years before their even born. That's how it is where we came from."
He says to her running his fingers through his light blue hair.
"ah," grace replied, satisfied with his answer.
"Anyway…. Is she free? Because if so, we'll be taking her, and you'll be leaving her alone…right?"
He says turning to Finneas and Rune.
Finneas looked back to him, “Yes, she’s free. But I am going to visit her,” he stated as more of a declaration, “Becayse if nothing else, she’s my friend.”
Mercy looked at the two of them thoughtfully. Maybe they had judged him too quickly and on not very much information.
”That seems fair, I suppose. But until we get to know you better… would you be opposed to at least one of us being present during some of the visits?” Her eyes flickered between yellow and pink, showing her embarrassed nerves.
"I'm sorry," Isobel said, confused. "But what exactly is going on here?" Isobel's eyes landed on Rune, the only one who hadn't spoken yet on this matter.
"I will… "
He says stepping away from the girls. They don't have any other makes in the group, so he felt obligated. And usually, he didn't care about gender, but he found out, males are more scared of other males than they were females…especially if he's beaten him up before
(Hey @_Write_Where_I_Wanna_Be I'm a little confused. I've discovered the "makes" most likely means males, just a typo, but then it says, and I quote "…makes are my scared of other males…". I'm not quite sure what "my" would mean in this context…)
(I'm so sorry, I'm not currently able to type on my computer, and it's kind if really hard on a phone, but I'll fix that! Thx for telling me!)
Finneas frowned, “I would prefer she be there.” He gestured to Mercy.
Rune smiled at the two new girls, “Hello.” She croaked and cradled her hurt hand in her lap.
(Aaaah that's fine @_Write_Where_I_Wanna_Be!)
"I- hello," Grace replied, smiling back.
"Yeah, well you don't get what you prefer. I'm not afraid to beat you to death this time, so i wouldn't complain alright?"
He says leaning towards him, his third eye practically staring into his soul.
It took a lot of concentration for Mercy to keep her whole body from turning pink at being put in the spotlight like that.
It did make sense that Finneas would prefer her over Young-Jae considering she hadn't had a chance to attack him earlier and Young-Jae hadn't tried to talk with him.
”I have no objections to visiting.” She agreed, making eye contact with the floor. ”Though I didn't demonstrate it earlier I am capable of… defending myself. That fact is actually why I ended up here.” It wasn't a lie, though it wasn't just defense either.
"Okay, but if he tries anything foolish, I'll knock his head off…got it?"
He snapped back at Finneas. He really didn't want Mercy doing it, but maybe she could fight.
She rolled her eyes at Young-Jae’s protectiveness before they turned a shade of ice blue. ”Depending on the situation; you may not get a chance to.”
Mercy looked back at Grace and Isobel, softening the harsh color to a warmer shade. ”I’m sorry. We’re not intentionally ignoring you. It's just been a long strange day.”
“What part of me has ever hinted that I’m violent?” He asked Young-Jae, mind flickering back to memory— to when he was actually nineteen— that made him only slightly uncomfortable. He pushed the thought aside, returning his attention to Rune. He cradled the side of her head with a hand.
