Hunter noticed the frown on her face and smiled at her.
"Hey, what's with that frown?" he poked her nose. "Besides, being an actor would mean I'd probably have to get intimate with a woman, and I'd much rather not do that. These days, there are hardly any movies without a romantic plot."
"Okay, I guess you're right," Kenzie sighed. She shrugged and gave him a small smile "You had just been so excited about it that I was excited for you."
Hunter pressed a light kiss to her forehead.
"Acting will always be a part of me, but maybe it's better I don't pursue it, you know?" He wrapped one arm around her waist. "I love art just as much as I love acting. Maybe I'll be a teacher or something."
"Yeah, I get it. I'm sure you'd be a great art teacher," Kenzie said, smiling up at him and wrapping her own arm around him.
The guide stopped in front of a luxurious hotel.
"This is where you'll be staying at for your visit," she said, pointing at it. "You'll collect your keys from the receptionist. I've booked a room a hallway away from yours, so I'll guide you to your room as well."
"Thank you again," Kenzie said with a polite smile as she tore her gaze away from Hunter. She could look at him whenever she wanted; she should really focus on the scenery right now.
Hunter grinned at Kenzie before following her lead, looking around in awe. He wasn't sure which hotel he should book, and he selected the third one that popped up on his research, but he didn't think it was that luxurious. For once, Hunter was thankful that he had, at one point, worked as a McArthur, and sold his artwork. He definitely wouldn't have been able to afford this place if he wasn't stable.
The guide walked inside and lead them to the reception where they got their keys. She lead them to their room, and when they got there, she stopped and smiled at them politely.
"The guide starts tomorrow at nine," she informed them. "Breakfast will be here by eight. If you have any allergies and the likes, please inform the staff when you order. Have a good night."
"You as well. Thank you," Kenzie said, nodding at the guide before she turned around and took in their suite. "Wow. You picked a really nice suite, babe…"
"Honestly, I just closed my eyes and scrolled down the list," Hunter admitted. "This was the third in the list. It looked nice so I picked it. I didn't think it would be that awesome."
Kenzie snorted and poked him in the side. "C'mon. Let's go put our stuff away. Then we can do whatever is on the agenda."
Hunter stretched.
"What I have on the agenda is sleep," Hunter yawned, covering his mouth. "I'm so tired. The whole plane ride was annoying. As much as I love babies, that one baby crying on the airplane irked me. It wasn't even him that I was annoyed at. The parents weren't even doing anything about it. That's what got me irritated."
Kenzie yawned after Hunter and nodded in agreement. "Good idea. It was pretty annoying… At least we won't have to worry about any crying babies for a while."
Hunter nodded in agreement.
"I'm going to shower and then cuddle with you," Hunter declared before opening his suitcase to take out his clothes and a towel.
"I'll be pretending to sleep in bed," Kenzie joked, reaching up to give him a quick kiss. She smiled and dragged her suitcase into the bedroom and started to unpack before changing into a light pink tshirt and matching pajama shorts and then plopping into the bed.
After taking a shower, Hunter came out of the bathroom, not as tired as he was before. Kenzie seemed to be occupied with something, so he walked over to the bed and jumped on next to her with a grin.
Kenzie looked over at him with a smile. "Hey. Have a nice shower?"
"I did," he said. "It would've been better if I was joined by someone but…"
Kenzie blushed and rolled her eyes a little. "Oh, stop it… You didn't even ask," she teased.
Hunter raised an eyebrow.
"Was I supposed to?" he said. "But thanks, Kenzie. Now I know you wanted to do it."
"I was teasing you!" Kenzie exclaimed, blushing profusely. Not that she didn't want to… She kinda did…
Hunter smirked.
"Some teasing," he flicked her on the nose. "Don't worry, though. Next time, I won't even ask."
"Shuddup…" Kenzie groaned, burying her bright red face in his shoulder.
Hunter laughed, wrapping his arms around her.
"You're so cute when you're embarrassed," he teased her.
"It's your fault," Kenzie muttered without moving her face from his shoulder. She snuggled closer to him, wrapping her own arms around him.
Hunter pulled the covers over them, pulling her closer.
"I'm sleepy," he muttered. "And hungry. Are you hungry, Kenz?"
