Hunter scoffed.
"Why wouldn't he?" He responded. "I'd be surprised if he wasn't with her."
(It's party time! Woot woot!!! That's 5000 posts, people!!!)
"I know. That's why I'm confident in my bet," Kenzie joked, waiting for Hunter with a smile at the door to their bedroom. "If you don't like my terms, I'll change them. What if, if Leo comes with Willow, you kiss me. And if he doesn't, I'll kiss you."
(WHOOO!!! Kenzie and Hunter made it this far!!!!)
Hunter grinned.
“Game on,” he said, having a feeling that Leo would bring Willow along. He walked to the front door and opened it to find…
(I luvs it! :3)
Willow cocked an eyebrow at Hunter and Kenzie, her hands on her hips.
"Well, finally," she greeted them with a half smirk.
Kenzie turned to Hunter with a grin. "I won!"
Hunter furrowed his eyebrows. Leo was already coming to pick them up, so why wasn’t he here with Willow?
“Didn’t you come along with Leo?” Hunter questioned in confusion.
(During class, I asked my group-member (we sit in groups in most of the classes) whether he was able to solve the last four questions in the homework. He said he didn’t do the homework, and I told him it was okay, and I started working on the homework again since we get points for it. I gave up trying to solve it because I couldn’t find the points, and the teacher was coming over to check the homework.
Anyway, I looked back at him by chance, and he had the homework out and was solving the last question. I felt really touched because I didn’t even ask him to solve it for me, and he still did it. Obviously I thanked him for helping me with it.
A few minutes later, while I was working, he tapped on my desk and I looked over to see he had solved another question for me. Again, I didn’t ask him and he still did it even though there was no need for it anymore because the teacher was already finished with grading my homework. I was really touched because no one had really gone that far. They’d usually stop at, “No, sorry, I don’t know.” but that guy actually solved two questions without me asking him to.)
(Well that was sweet of him!)
"Yeah, he's in the car. He was pouting because I wouldn't kiss him with his garlic breath," Willow explained with a shrug.
(I know, right?)
Hunte turned to Kenzie.
“Well, well, looks like Leo did come with Willow,” he said to her with a smirk.
(I went to a play, but it got cut short because the power went out…)
"And I bet you that if he did, then you had to kiss me," Kenzie reminded him with a grin.
"Wait wait wait… You guys bet each other a kiss? I had no idea you were such dorks," Willow mused, shaking her head slowly.
Hunter snorted as if the bet was such a big deal. Paying Willow no attention, Hunter pulled Kenzie towards him, hands on her hips, and firmly clasped their lips together in a kiss. He pulled away just as fast, his lips twisting into a smirk.
“There’s your kiss,” he said teasingly.
Kenzie blinked in surprise, mouth hanging open slightly.
"That's not fair," she grumbled with a huff.
Willow snorted and rolled her eyes. "All right, newlyweds. Get in the car so I can ship you both off to Greece, already."
Hunter smirked before following Willow out of the door, satisfied at teasing Kenzie successfully.
"So, Willow, how was spending time with Leo's family after yesterday?" Hunter questioned curiously.
Willow shot a smile over her shoulder. "It was actually good. They were very happy for us. I'm glad to be marrying into such a nice family."
Kenzie chewed on her lip as they walked out to the car. She still felt like she was on cloud nine from the wedding yesterday, and she still couldn't believe that she was now McKenzie Hope McArthur…
Hunter grinned.
"Yes, yes you are," he agreed. "The best family in the world. Did Leo meet your parents, though?"
Willow sighed and nodded slowly. "He has, yes. They loved him, of course, because who couldn't love Leo? But, you know, my mother just couldn't keep those stupid baby books under her bed…"
Kenzie snorted a laugh, then tried to cover it up with a cough. Willow glared at her before climbing into the passenger's seat and giving Leo an exasperated look.
Leo blinked.
"What? What happened?" He looked at Leo and Kenzie in confusion. "What did I do?"
"Nothing, babe. Kenzie is just being a royal pain in the tail," Willow sighed, reaching over to take his hand.
Kenzie chuckled and sat in the back seat. She looked over at Hunter with a bright smile as she waited for him to join her.
Leo sighed with relief, clasping Willow's hand in his own.
Hunter took his seat next to Kenzie.
"You'll miss us," he told his friends. "Terribly. Willow, take care of Leo. He gets depressed when I'm not around."
Leo immediately whirled out.
"I do not!" he protested. "I do just fine without you! You're so arrogant, man."
Kenzie set her hand on Hunter's knee with a chuckle. "You're so mean to your friend."
"Like you wouldn't say something like that about me!" Willow scoffed, turning to glare at her friend. She huffed and faced forward again. "You two deserve each other…"
“They sure do,” Leo agreed. “It’s going to be great when they leave. We’ll have peace and quiet all for ourselves.”
“Please,” Hunter rolled eyes. “We both know quiet isn’t your forte.”
“Just like being modest isn’t yours,” Leo shot back with a roll of his eyes.
Kenzie rolled her eyes. "You know you'll miss us when we're gone, you two. How will you go on double dates without us?"
"I do have other friends, you know," Willow reminded her, raising an eyebrow as she turned slightly to face her.
"What?" Kenzie gasped dramatically, placing her free hand over her heart and looking hurt. "How could you betray me like this?"
"Oh my gosh, just kill me now," Willow muttered, rolling her eyes. She looked over at Leo desperately. "Can we just get them out of here, now?"
Leo nodded quickly.
“Let’s kick them out in the airport and then we’ll leave,” he told her. “We’ll drive quickly.”
“You’re going to be really lonely without me, Leo,” Hunter informed his best friend. “Who will stand your competitive ways and feed you?”
“First of all, I am not competitive—“
“I beg to differ,” Hunter interrupted.
“Then beg,” Leo answered back in exasperation. “I’m waiting.”
"Begging is unbecoming," Kenzie declared in a feigned royal-like voice as she bit back a smile.
“So is being a jerk,” Leo answered. “But here we are.”
“Dude, don’t insult my wife,” Hunter narrowed his eyes.
“I’m not. I’m talking about you,”
"You guys are relentless," Kenzie chuckled. "Is there ever a time when you're not griping at each other?"
