"Well, some is better than none at all," Kenzie said with a shrug. "Do you know where we're going next?"
"Well, some is better than none at all," Kenzie said with a shrug. "Do you know where we're going next?"
“I booked us rooms in Ava Hotels and Suites, but honestly, I don’t know where it is,” Hunter admitted. “Lindsey went ahead and got us a guide for a day, but I don’t know where we’re supposed to meet him.”
(Just for the record… I googled it and it was the most comfortable hotel I found.)
(Lol. I usually just make places up.
IT'S SNOWING! FRICKING SNOWING!!! And the roads are scary icy!)
"Okay, then they should be holding a sign up for us," Kenzie said, standing on her tiptoes to look.
(YES IT IS! :D)
Hunter nodded.
"Let's continue walking and try to find them," he said to her, grabbing their suitcases and moving along.
(It is not okay…)
"Okay," Kenzie said, looking around as she followed him.
When they were almost to the doors, she saw a woman holding a sign with "Mr. and Mrs. McArthur" on it in bold black letters.
"I think I found her."
Hunter noticed as well and sighed with relief. They walked to the woman.
"Thank you for meeting us here," he said to her once they got to her. "I hope you didn't have to wait long."
(Can you do her, please? My brain is fried…)
Kenzie nodded in agreement with Hunter, giving the guide a polite smile. "Yes, thank you very much."
(Of course!)
The woman nodded.
“My name is Alisha,” the woman introduced herself before pausing, her English perfect. Although her accent was slightly weird, Hunter could understand every word. “Since it’s late, I’ll be guiding you to your hotel.”
"That sounds great!" Kenzie said, grinning as she leaned into Hunter's side.
The woman nodded with a smile.
"All right, then, follow me," she said, already turning around and walking away, her heels clipping as she walked.
Kenzie was practically bouncing on her toes as she walked beside Hunter. "I don't think I'm ever going to believe this is real…"
Hunter grinned down at her.
"Well, you'd better believe it real soon," he told her. "We'll be doing this often."
"Traveling?" Kenzie asked, looking up at him with a slightly confused smile.
Hunter nodded.
"I told you," he said. "I'll show you the world."
Kenzie grinned up at him before stopping and pecking his lips quickly. "What if we go to Australia next?"
Hunter clasped Kenzie's hand tightly.
"Whatever you desire, my lady," he said dramatically.
"I've always thought Australia sounded fun to visit," Kenzie said, gently squeezing Hunter's hand as she continued following the guide. "What about you? Where do you want to go?"
Hunter shrugged.
"I like historical places," he said nonchalantly. "Any old ruins and I'm instantly interested in that place."
"So… Maybe somewhere in Mexico? Or South America?" Kenzie mused, glancing at him.
"South America," Hunter replied. "There are some awesome ruins that I really want to visit."
Kenzie nodded slowly, thinking about it. "Sounds cool. But maybe we should graduate before going on a million more trips," she chuckled.
(I TOTALLY FORGOT THEY GO TO COLLEGE.)
Hunter groaned.
"Our vacation would be over soon," he grumbled. "It sucks that our honeymoon is only for a week."
(Lol. I did, too, for a while.)
"Yeah…" Kenzie sighed, glancing around the airport. "Whatever happened to that dream of yours? Becoming an actor, that is."
Hunter shrugged.
"It was a childish dream," Hunter replied nonchalantly, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "I mean, I'd still like to become one, but there are better things I can achieve. I still haven't created any artwork for selling in a while."
Kenzie frowned slightly at him but didn't say anything about it. Was that really what he wanted? He had been so excited about it…
