Hunter grinned.
“I like to finish my work quickly,” he said. “But only because I want to be free later on. Leo’s smarter than I am, so it’s easier for him to finish the work he piles up.
He looked at Kenzie, who started asking one question after another and let out a chuckle.
“For the sticker or label, I think you can choose. As for the apartment… we’ll buy our own house. That way, we can have pets, too.”
Kenzie grinned at Hunter and reached up to kiss him quickly.
"I can't wait. You know that means we'll have to go house hunting, right?" she asked, her grin never leaving her face.
Hunter groaned.
"I hate house hunting," he huffed. "Anyway, let's quickly mail these. What's next on our list after this? Did we have a party planner?"
"Hey, it should be fun with both of us, though, right?" Kenzie laughed. "As for what's next… Well, I think we need an actual date for the wedding, rather than just a general idea. And my cousin said that she could help us plan it."
"Well, I hope so, as long as you don't get all grumpy," Hunter commented, grinning. "Anyway, shouldn't we first focus on our engagement party? Before we start planning the wedding, that is. Better to focus on one thing rather than two at the same time."
Kenzie waved her hand dismissively. "I got everything put on a list, you just need to buy it. And I'm not going to get grumpy!" she laughed.
Hunter raised his eyebrows.
"Are you sure?" he teased, poking her nose.
"If I get grumpy, you have permission to to tickle me until I'm not, okay?" Kenzie said, smiling.
“I’ll resort to a better method,” Hunter replied. “Anyway, have you decided whether we’re getting stickers or labels?”
"Well, I have plenty of stamps, so I don't think I'll get any of those. As for labels… We'll have to wait until we know our address to get them," Kenzie said with a shrug.
Hunter nodded thoughtfully.
“Well, then shall we deliver these cards?”
"Yeah, let's go," Kenzie giggled.
After they were done with the mailing, Hunter had an idea.
"Why don't we have another double date?" he asked, thinking of Leo.
"That would be fun. Where should we go this time?" Kenzie asked, turning to Hunter as she grinned. "Oh, what about the new restaurant on Maple Street? What's it called again? Uh… Matteo's? I think that's right."
(Totally just made that up. Lol.)
Hunter shrugged.
"Have you tried it before?" he asked.
(Good attempt! :P)
(Matteo's is a salsa brand that's really good lol)
(Dangit, Hope…)
"No, I haven't yet. That's why I suggested it," Kenzie explained. "I think it's Italian."

(Lol. I just thought it was funny)
“Well, it’s worth a try,” he said. “Since we’re using your car, drop me off at Leo’s, yeah? We’ll both meet you and Willow.”
"Why can't you stay with me?" Kenzie asked, pouting playfully.
“It’s okay, babe, it’s only for a few hours at most,” Hunter comforter Kenzie. “You’ll survive without me.”
"But I won't!" Kenzie exclaimed dramatically. "I'll positively die without seeing you."
Hunter sighed, shaking his head in disappointment.
"You mean you'll pawsitively die without seeing me," he corrected her.
Kenzie laughed. "Sure, babe. If you want me to have meant that, then sure."
