Eclipse shook his head, "I don't think I can stop blaming myself. I always screw things up." he sighed, "Even with my soulmate.."

Aron sighed. "Eclipse, please listen to me. Don't blame yourself for this. It's too easy a trap to fall into. I could blame it on myself, for not sticking with you guys when I should have."

Eclipse sighed, before nodding. "You're right… though it doesn't really help much, you're right." he said finally. "So do we want to see if we can find their trail?"

Aron nodded. "Yeah. But if we can't…we know they can't get too far from here; they'll want to stay somewhere remote."

(can we just like…timeskip to the next month when they find Nik please?)

(Yeah, but you'll need to start to do it, cause idk how.)
Eclipse nodded, "True, shall we head out then?" he waited for final confirmation before shifting, knowing he couldn't speak in wolf form.

(Alright. Should I just do it now, then?)

Aron nodded. "Yeah. Let's go." he replied.

(Now is perfect.)
Eclipse nodded, leading the way off into the trees.

A month later…
They had found Nikolas. They had sent a message to Eclipse, and he was expected to arrive that day. Once he was here, they would make their final move on the camp. They hadn't attacked yet, merely tracked them down.

Eclipse was running as fast as he could, leading a pair of Luna wolves, the ones he'd assigned as his personal guard. The Luna clan were the ones he'd sent to meet Nik's guards for the search. And he trusted them more than the Nightfang clan. The luna wolves dropped behind him as they reached the camp, and he shifted back, dressed in clean hunter's attire, rather than shirtless and barefoot (though that was quite comfortable for him).

Aron saw him first, and came over. Nik's guard looked exhausted, though somehow still full of energy, a happy grin on his face. "We found him." he said. "We were waiting for you before we began our assault, as we don't know…we don't know what sort of shape he's in. If he's still…you know." he sighed softly.

Eclipse nodded grimly, his eyes seeming harder than they had before, since he'd had to stand against a near revolution back in Tesh, and the constant worry over Nik. "Where, and what's the plan?" he asked softly, waving his guards away to get some rest.
(I wanna see Nik's POV!)

"We set up a perimeter guard using both your reinforcements, and ones that Lieze sent from the capital. Myself and Ryker, along with some of the others, and you if you want, will be the advance group as we head in. A lot of Seren's group already fled; we didn't have the manpower to stop them, but it means that hopefully the defense won't be as thick. Right now, our priority is Nik, not defeating the group. Once we have Nik, we get out." Aron described.
(We will. I just don't wanna describe him rn because I'm lazy and he's in a lot of pain so it wouldn't really be anything interesting XD)

Eclipse nodded, "Obviously I'm with you," he said firmly, "But I'll follow your lead, since you already know more than I do." he sighed, "I just hope Nik's alright…" he thought back to where they'd been a month ago, how much the other'd been hurting then. He really hoped the other hadn't lost faith in him.

(Lol. Wellllll you'll see him in plenty later)

Aron nodded a little. "Right. Come on then." he replied, and jogged away, heading to where the rest of the force was waiting. "Let's move." he said.

(can we skip to the end of the fight/when they find Nik?)

Eclipse followed at his heels, ready and armed for a fight. Willing to put his life on the line to rescue the Kevran Heir.

(I'ma do a little timeskip~)

Once they found Nik, Aron called for Eclipse, wincing as his eyes fell on Nik. The Kevran heir was locked in the cell, bloody and bruised, his clothing torn and barely hanging onto his thin body. Aron unlocked the cell, standing out of the way so that Eclipse could get in.
Nik flinched at the sound of the door, shaking.

Eclipse came as soon as he was called, killing the rebel he'd been fighting.When his eyes landing on Nik, his breath caught. Eyes filled with sadness he carefully stepped into the doorway. "Nik?"he asked softly, hoping the other would recognize him, that the other wouldn't hate him for leaving, that the they might still have a chance with the bond…

Nik lifted his head a little, peering up at Eclipse through his hair. "Eclipse?" he whispered, throat dry and voice cracking. His body was covered in dry and drying blood, and there were circles beneath his eyes from sleepless nights. His left leg looked even worse than it had been, an infection leaking pus from multiple wounds.

Eclipse nodded, "Yeah…" he said softly, trying not to choke at the sight, hit with a wave of guilt. If only I hadn't left you… he thought, carefully coming over to the other, kneeling beside him, wanting to wrap him up in his arms, but afraid to touch him, lest he hurt the other in some way.

Nik was shaking. Please be real… He thought desperately. Please… He swallowed dryly, staring at Eclipse. "You came back?" he asked, fingers twitching.
Aron cleared his throat softly. "Eclipse, we need to go. We need to get him to Errol, and we need to get out of here." he said quietly.

"Of course I did.." he said softly,reaching out to hug him, but not touching him, ignoring Aron for the moment. "I would never leave you in this situation…" he sighed, wanting to cry, "Can.. Can I pick you up?" he asked, not wanting to hurt him further.
