Esmae wasn't sure how to respond to Katya. Yes, she didn't get along with Katya the most and that's what made it hard to think she could talk to her. "There's many things that I've done that would probably horrify you guys, and I'm sure you have as well. Maybe another time we can share stories, but right now we need sleep." She stood and walked to the door. "Goodnight." The light from the hall slowly disappeared from the room as the door closed behind her.
"Well, I could use some help on archery, my aim isn't the best. I'm best at swordsmanship." He yawned and let go of Luna's hand to stretch. "We should probably sleep."
Luna missed his hand for some strange reason. She nodded with him, "R-right. I-It's been an eventful day."
Katya frowned, that didn't go as planned. Well what else did she expect, the other girl didn't like her at all. So much for trying to build that bridge, she stayed in her bed and lied wide awake at the ceiling. Something told her not to go asleep, that it wouldn't be good for her to do so. The same little voice had been nagging at her like this for the entirety of her time here.
Uriah waved goodbye as he walked to his room. He walked by Esmae's name first and the opened his door. As he shut it the light disappeared. With a sigh he laid on his bed. He wasn't able to fall asleep right away, but after an hour or so he was out.
Esmae sat on her bed, alone, and in the dark. For some reason she hated it. It made her think of the time she was put in the small cell with other kids. The screams were horrifying. And the gun shots from next door haunted her. Why was it only tonight that she remembered all this? Every other night she was fine. "Don't think of it, don't think if it." The crying eyes and screams of a young child being drug away. Maybe because even though she was surrounded by kids back then, she still felt alone in that dark room.
Luna waved back at him before letting out a long breath she had been unconsciously holding. She shook her head and walked towards her room. Maybe she could actually sleep in there tonight, but at the very least she could change before passing out.
Esmae eventually fell asleep but had nightmares all night. (Okay I'm ready to skip.)
(When is the super big plot twist going to happen?)
(Following the mission. Or during. Idk for sure yet.)
(slowly steps back in… hi.)
(Sorry I've been MIA on his chat, hard to keep up when you've got like… four assignments to work on)
(Yeah, I feel that… school hasn't been kind to me either.)
(That's okay. We all missed you though!)
(Thanks guys uwu can someone explain what’s happening/has happened?)
(So they had that party/dance or whatever, there was some cute fluff between Sparrow and Cyrus and Luna and Uriah, and Katya and Vida did end up hurting Cyrus; all of this is going to lead up to the group deciding to go on another mission.)
Sparrow was already up and at em the next morning. She had peeked into the kids room to see them sleeping and quickly went into a meeting room, bring her weapons designs with her.
Esmae had been up and just wandering the halls. It was quiet this early in the morning and she liked it, it eased her mind. "Miki, am I bad with people?" The ferret looked up at her and squeaked. "Yeah, your probably right."
Uriah's alarm started to go off and he pulled up his covers. Waking up wasn't the easiest thing for him. After a few minutes he got up and changed. "Time to go to a meeting. He sighed making sure he looked good, although he wasn't sure why. After leaving his room he went straight to the meeting room.
Luna jolted awake her breathing quick and ragged, sweat was beaded on her forehead and slowly dripped down her face. Her shaky hand was clasped up against her chest as she looked around her empty room. Fue sólo un sueño. Fue sólo un sueño. She kept repeating the same mantra in herself until her breathing had steadied out. She glanced up at the ticking clock remembering they had a meeting today. She let out a deep long sigh before getting out of bed, properly dressed with her old hooded jacket and started her way to the meeting room.
Sparrow frowned at the small double ended folding sword design she was working on. The style was wrong and didnt seem like a child assassins weapon
