Katya nodded as she looked to Esmea, "That's right. So we are temporary allys."
Luna had a shaky voice naturally after the whole six months with Panther, but she felt it was shakier than usual, "Y-yeah."

Luna had a shaky voice naturally after the whole six months with Panther, but she felt it was shakier than usual, "Y-yeah."
Nathan also nodded, agreeing with Katya
"Right, temporarily." Esmae wasn't sure if she was going to like working with others, but she was used to it, she had her own team.
"Luna, um, listen." Uriah looked forward at the wall, but didn't actually have the courage to tell her. "Never mind."
Luna looked up at him. He wanted to say something, but why did he not, "W-what is it Uriah?"
"Maybe temporarily," Vida said, "I've always hoped that one day we could actually find more in common. Maybe even become friends if we're lucky. And I get it if you don't trust us… most of us hardly have any memory of what happened before we got here."
"It's nothing, let's just stand here like this for a bit." He didn't want to make anything worse with his feelings and worries, now wasn't the time. But with his business growing, he would have to leave and soon.
"You don't want to be friends with me, and that's one thing you can trust me on. I'll drag you down a bad path." She would feel bad if she brought someone into her problems and then something happened to them. Esmae didn't think they would accept her so easily, so she didn't have anything planned. "Who actually remembers something from their time in black claw?" This was something she found odd, did they have something that could wipe memories that she didn't know of, or did these kids just block it from their minds?
Luna nodded and looked down at the floor. She didn't trust that answer, but everything was chaos and it could probably be saved for later. She let herself relax and just be in the moment with Uriah.
"Ummmm, we could make them all trip down the stairs?" Katya suggested.
Vida held her breath. "No, no… we already messed up, and I'm sure they won't let it happen again."
She turned to Esmea. "I feel like I keep having to talk about it, but I do remember a tiny bit- a moment from my time there…"
"What's with you and stairs?" Esmae asked looking at Katya, before turning back to Vida. "Would you mind telling me what you remember?" If she had anything from them maybe they could make a connection somehow.
"Sorry." Uriah said before looking at the ground. "Theres a dangerous missions coming or at least something dangerous. Just promise me will you try and stay safe."
"Well, they killed my brother for trying to keep me safe from them…" Vida said, "I saw the whole thing, too… they made me watch. He was an example of what happens to anyone who tries to defy them."
"They are an effective way of disabling people!" Katya exclaimed in her defense.
Luna let out a little chuckle, "I-I'll try. Th-though I doubt Cyrus will even let me help out."
Esmae stopped, it was hard to catch her breath. "That's something we have in common already. The same exact thing happened to my older brother, with one small difference." It almost made her want to cry, just like that day, but she promised her brother and herself she wouldn't.
"Knowing Cyrus he probably wouldn't." Uriah laughed. Cyrus was a funny guy, always so worried, but deeply cared for his loved ones.
Vida tilted her head. "…One small difference?" she repeated.
She bit on the inside of her cheek to keep from crying.
Luna stopped laughing, but still had a smile on her face. She sighed lightly, "Y-yeah.I-I wish he would though. I-I'm not uncapable now, I-I just have a few problems that's all."
Esmae wasn't going to lie to her, that would only make Vida trust her less. "I'm the one who killed my brother." She looked Vida straight in the eye. "Not something you probably want to hear right now, but if I'm going to gain your trust, I'd rather not lie."
"I've seen you fight, your good at what you do. Cyrus would be crazy not to have you by his side." Uriah squeezed her hand. "You're excellent."
Vida's eyes grew huge, and they welled up with tears.
"Did… did they make you…?"
Luna felt her smile grew and red start to dust her face, "I-I, um, gracias Uriah," she slipped back into Spanish from the overwhelment of everything that was coming over her, "Usted no es malo usted mismo. Possiblemente asistar con la mision?"
"No, well, it's complicated." Esmae wasn't sure how to tell them, so maybe if they asked another time she would. "I'm not a good person, so you shouldn't be friends with me." Esmae wanted to get that in everyone's head. Sure it would be nice to have kids her age to talk to about her problems, but then she remembers, they aren't ordinary kids.
"I'm a bit rusty on my Spanish." Uriah laughed. If he took some time he might be able to figure out what she said, but he just wanted to know right away.
Vida crossed her arms. "Everyone deserves friends, no matter how bad their past was. Allies, if that makes you more comfortable."
"O-oh right," Luna said feeling her face grow red from embaressment, "U-um, you're n-not a bad fighter yourself. M-maybe you c-could help out with th-the mission too?"
"Ah, thank you. But I would just get in the way, unlike you guys who were trained since you were young, I've only just started assassin training, fighting or whatever a year ago."
"Allies, sure that works." Esmae laid back on the bed. "Who wants to actually talk to them because… they don't like me much and probably won't listen to a word I say." She was frustrated, but she only had herself to blame.
"S-Still you've improved a lot since then," Luna pointed out, "Y-you're not the same person I met a year ago."
"I want to talk to Cyrus…" Vida replied, "Of course, apologize, and maybe explain some things. What all do we need to tell the adults?"
"Honestly I'm not sure." Esmae should just tell them everything she's been through, since she is the only one who remembers everything. "I don't know who I should talk to, but I should definitely tell someone."
Uriah smiled and looked down at Luna. "Thank you, but I still have a lot to learn." But thanks to Sparrow he has learned a lot. It was all thanks to her.
Katya was at first horrified after hearing what Esmae did. She started to calm down because the other girl really didn't talk to, "Well. We didn't get off on the best foot, but you can always talk to me!"
Luna smiled back up at him, "D-don't we all? I-If you ever want some help with archery o-or combat knives you can ask me."
