Zeke finally managed to wiggle out from underneath the cyborg before heading off to make some breakfast.

Nyx lay down on the couch, curled up in a ball. He was mostly asleep still, barely aware that Zeke was gone.

Zeke made himself breakfast and changed into a new set of clothes. Once he had finished that up he came back into check on Nyx.

Nyx was still curled up asleep. He looked rather peaceful like that, sleeping, even with all the metal that made up his limbs.

Zeke grabbed his computer and cords as he decided to try to work on Nyx's speech code as he was asleep.

Nyx let out a sigh in his sleep, snuggling into a tighter ball. He was lying on his side.

He carefully plugged the cord into Nyx as well as his laptop, careful to not wake him up.

Nyx shifted a little when he was plugged in but kept sleeping. His chest rose and fell with each breath, his body otherwise mostly still.

Zeke pulled up Nyx's and began to work to correct his code so sperch was possible.

Nyx let out a soft breath, rolling onto his stomach.

Zeke spent the next half an hour breaking down Nyx's speech code. When he finally finished he laughed. "Yes!" He cackled to himself as he unplugged the cord from the laptop. Unfortunately pulling the cord out of the laptop before Nyx cause for a little ecetricty to shock Nyx.

Nyx jumped awake at the shock, eyes flying wide open as he stared at Zeke.

Zeke yelped as Nyx jumped awake. He laughed nervously. "Sorry I woke you up, but now that you're up. Can you try to speak?" He asked.

Nyx stared at him for a moment. "What do you want me to…?" He blinked in surprise as he managed to speak. His voice was hoarse from disuse.

Zeke's face lit up with a smile. "Yes! Now you can speak!" He said.

Nyx blinked, eyes round with surprise. Then he grinned happily. "Thank you."

Zeke chuckled. "No problem. Now, is there anything you want to ask me now that you can talk?" She asked as he lifted his legs onto the couch.

Nyx smiled a little bit. "Uhm. I…I don't know." He replied, shrugging his shoulders.

Zeke gave him a patient smile. "That's okay. Do you have anything you want to say?" He asked.

Nyx smiled a little. "I don't know." He said again. "But…thank you. For all of this." He said softly.

Zeke seemed a bit startled when he heard Nyx say that but smiled. "Like I said, no problem. Do you want anything to eat?" He asked.

Nyx smiled a little bit. "Uhm. Yes please." He replied, standing and stretching and moving around a little.

Zeke got up and stretched. "What sounds good to you?" He asked.

He shrugged. "I don't know. I haven't…really eaten much food before." He replied slowly, looking at Zeke carefully.

Zeke frowned. "Well how about we make sure that changes." He said with a smile as he beckoned him to the kitchen.
