Zeke let out an exasperated sigh. "Okay. No." He said as turn to look at him. "That is not the way to be thinking."

Nyx clenched his jaw, then shrugged. "That is the way my life is, Zeke." he snapped.

Zeke sighed again. "It shouldn't have to be." He said. "You don't have to be owned."

"Well, unless you can change the law, it does." Nyx replied with a shrug.

"Just don't follow the law." Zeke suggested with a smile. "That's what I've been doing for years and I haven't had much of a problem yet."

Nyx frowned. "It's not that easy for me, Zeke. If…" He sighed. "Look at me." He spread his arms to illustrate. "It's obvious with one look that I'm over fifty percent. I can't own own property. I can't…"

"You can stay with me if you need a place to stay and I can help you. The last thing I want you to do is go back to RTI." Zeke explained.

Nyx shrugged again. "I still can't go out in public." He replied softly.

"If we go out in public I can make you a disguise or we can make up a cover up story." Zeke offered.

Nyx shrugged again. "Yeah sure." He said softly.

Zeke smiled at him before turning around and taking his egg off the stove. "We can figure it out." He said dishing it up onto a plate and handing it to him

Nyx bit his lip a little bit. "Okay." He took the plate, sitting down at the table.

Zeke sat down across from him. He rested his head on his arms as he sighed.

Nyx ate a little bit.

Zeke had closed his eyes as Nyx ate. "Is it any good? I know I'm not the best cook." He mumbled.

Nyx shrugged. "I don't have anything to test it against." he replied with a laugh. "But it's good."

Zeke chuckled, his eyes still closed. "I guess that's good. Maybe we can get you some better food later." He offered.

He shrugged again. "Maybe."

Zeke smiled and almost started to fall back asleep. Zeke was not one to take care of himself very well. He would often stay awake for days before passing out.

Nyx looked over at Zeke, studying him and chewing on his lower lip.

Zeke drifted off, again. His heavy breathing indicated he was asleep.

Nyx chuckled softly at the sight.

Zeke mumbled something in his sleep as he shifted a bit.

Nyx watched Zeke for a moment, wondering what to do.

Zeke shifted a bit in his sleep. Some of his long hair fell ovet his face.
