A blue spirit, a sprite, appears just behind the tree line in the wood. It seems to beckon you forward, twisting and flitting back and forth. It speaks to you, in chinkling chimes. Follow me. Please. Something should Change.

Silently, Orion mourns the loss of the plant life in the clearing as parts of it catch fire. Raising his hands non threateningly, he steps forward. His eyes flicker calmingly, and his aura shifts to something welcoming. "My name is Orion. I am not going to hurt you. It would be appreciated if you stopped burning my plants however, I tend to them." Voice soothing, he looks almost pleadingly at the Summoned.
"What- what are you?" she asked.
The runes along Sam's body continued to smolder, and the lava pouring from his hands sharpened into black blade-like metal. "How do I know that for certain?" he asked, ears trained on Orion
(wow ok. what'd I miss?)
(For Abigail)
The voice is almost childlike in its intensity. I am a sprite! We sorta like the woods. We stay here. The woods keep us safe. As the sprite speaks, you can see flickers of other colored sprites hiding in the trees.
(@Amber, I think you were at the cottage looking around at stuff)
(what's happened while I was off?)

"Well, I'm an elf, a guardian of the forest. Is there something wrong?"
(I more or less hopped in, ran into a witch, and am now being confronted by Orion)
Lucy watched the new comer, standing straighter. She felt a pang of frustration, her prefered private spot now having the company of a few others. She wondered if she could slip away to her cabin without the other people noticing. She would be polite, but she didn’t want to give too much information on herself to strangers. She took a few more steps backward, glancing around.

Orion retains eye contact with the Summoned. He hates having to do this where people see. With a soft, "Cleame," his illusion fades. His tail is hanging low, and his ears are forward and attentive. If a closer inspection is done the Summoned will see the heavy scaring at their bases. Eyes now reflecting the light emanating from the creature, and his teeth slightly sharper. "I won't hurt you. Not with me being as I am. It would be offensive to the Gods, and I have never found joy in causing pain to those undeserving of it. I don't think that you want to hurt me, I at least don't want to hurt you." The aura swirling around Orion in sincere, and auras cannot be faked.
Samandriel rose to his full height, blades slowly retracting into his palms. A smoldering ring surrounded him, but his runes still glowed. His aura burned, he knew it, and sincerely hoped no one got too close. He didn't quite want to hurt anyone, but didn't want anyone near him. "What happened to you?"
(For Abigail)
The sprite looks at her excitedly. No. Nothing wrong. Someone you should meet. A Guardian. They look after us. They care for us. You should come. Please. Spinning again, the sprite's voice is almost like a child, with innocent intrigue in the world.
The woman walked out into the forest, and was surprised to see a lot of new arrivals. "Oh, newcomers!" She walked up to Orion's side.
"Okay, lead on!" Ree said.
"How do I know this is not an ambush?" The guardian shouted from where he stood, angrily squinting at the two. He then realized it would be smarter to see their souls, and his eyes switched to black with red-gold rings in place of his eyes like a camera shutter
Lucy glanced between the two men, grimacing at the auras. Both seemed very defined. She recognized the spell that one of them used. She remembered her mother using it, almost as a cloaking ability. She neared the treeline, As as soon as she was close enough, she turned and took off through the trees. She followed a few markers, colored tacks that she had pinned to the tree. Eventually, she emerged on a path, her breath heavy, and she felt that she could slow into a slight jog.

Ears drooping for a moment, he drops his gaze. "Several….very bad people. Several mistakes." As he speaks he absentmindedly runs his fingers over the scarring, and the hollows where his ears used to be. "They wanted to see if it was possible. They got more than they bargained for." When he lifts his head again his eyes are unfocused, as if he is seeing something other than Samandriel. Shaking his head to clear it, his eyes refocus. "Forgive me for that. I have been known to get carried away." Smiling as if to shake the memories off, he dips his head to the Summoned. "My name is Orion, and I have have somewhere you can rest. You look as if you have been traveling for a while.
(Orion's soul is an iridescent white, with black cracks running through it from trauma, white souls are the best kind of people)
"I can't do anything to you anyway. Too weak. And I don't doubt you can take Orion any day. So there's really nothing to worry about."
(For Abigail)
The sprite laughs happily, and a trail of them leads into the woods, fluttering along side her for a bit before fading. She finds herself at a cottage, with a rather large and well kept herb garden. Surrounding the home are wards, which welcome her like an old friend.
Samandriel chuckled. "Oh sweetheart, this Orion of yours, he's never tangled with a gatekeeper. I could summon a thousand Ladies of the Veil before you could bat an eye."
(Don't really know about my woman's soul… I guess burgundy rimmed with white, tinted blood red and black for trauma and pain)
Orion gazes at the Summoned. "Samandriel, please, stop. I care for this place. If you will insist upon proving your strength to those who have not asked you too, please take it elsewhere. This place does not deserve this." Orion has used Samandriel's name, which would be fine, except for the fact that Samandriel had not given the cat-eared man his name.
